That's why I like one book systems like P&P or Fringeworthy its just one box
or one book and so much easier to control :)

Interesting twist but I had something similar in that someone tried that
(first
part)
but I didn't do the last part (explosion).  But it makes sense.

I'e not used Whilrlwind I don't think since the 80s.  A long time ago.

Well even with the ill effects basic abysmal failure is a incentive to careful
spell
use.  Especially when your starting out.

Yes and no.  You do have a valid point.  But thing again a Shamn tends to use
his will to project 
into his drum for magic.  Whereas say a Elder race has empthy for the land and
the ancient creatures.  Thus they can empathize with 'mother earth' if
youwill.
So it depends on how you look at it I suppose.
