    This seems very similar to the "Minigame" I mentioned before, similar to Star Frontiers or Marvel. Playable, but leaving you hungry for the rest. Perhaps leave notes in the areas that get more detail in the full version. That way, people can get familiar with the system, test it out, and choose if to purchase. It can be the tool to ease people into the complex parts of the rules AND the "advertisement", as the case may be.
