[PnP] Elf Shot questions

I guess this means I should apologize to the group, sorry for too many 
posts.
Since it was getting answers, I assumed further posts were fine.
And the topic did draw many different views on handling it, so would be 
useful to all players and GMs that may use this spell.

I would hope fatal Spear is similarly limited.
I am not all that fond of instant death effects though in PnP death is 
commonly easier than many systems.
In this case it is far stronger than the poisons, you do not have time 
to boost Enl or get cures.
So I may be in favor of a bit more limitation being applied, spell check 
may be justified as is mana costs.
In this case the Spell should cost more than ElfShot to use.
