high-tech settings. The WSB of a .50 round would leave no chance for a grazing

size=3> Perhaps the WSB of missile weapons ought to apply
as EL does on damage (variable depending on the quality of the
hit) rather than as WSB does as a straight damage bonus to any hit. The
question of whether to apply missile weapon WSB as EL to the roll to hit also is
up in the air. Personally I think the missile weapon WSB should work as EL both
ways. Granted a .50 may be no more accurate than a .22 at close range, if a hit
occurs the .50 is far more likely to be deadly.</FONT></FONT></DIV>

size=3> This might also improve the 'reality' of fantasy
weapons such as boulders hurled by giants being able to do grazing hits as
