<P><FONT SIZE=2>I second this, since bards are supposedly a big influence in the Goiden area (my home for my main character in my brother's game). I'm not sure about bonus due to App, except in terms of how Em or W helps a wizard (by improving MDV, mana regen, etc).</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2>App is one of the cleanup questions that has to be answered...whould there be "protected" attributes in which nature has full control and there is nothing you can do about it? I would buy the case that I (you generally can't improve your intelligence) and C (our your basic genes/health) are protected, since I can see people training Ap (better wardrobe and grooming; eating better; improving posture; learning to look at the eyes, not the chest when talking to the Queen, etc. :)</FONT></P>
