Hate to blow the
list up at times. But I had no books to read so
idle hands creates more projects of creativity. At any
rate this
is what Book 2 project was about. It was to condense
all the
spell information into just a couple places rather than
spread out
in various sources. The posts that follow explain the
bulk of
the project. If Wout deems, I can send the final
files to him
and put up for download. These posts should all be
short enough
to scan and be on the list wihout oversize. There
should be no
format problems except for the last few posts.

Post 1-3 : Book 2 Magic Spells : Nothing new here
guys. Just read
every spell in book 2 and typed them up into my own version.
(Don't like PDFs :)). They are shortened and trimmed down
versions though which doesn't contain examples and other
filler that experienced GMs may find useful. For new people
they should consult book 2.

Post 4-5 : Other spells - This file contained all the other
spells that
are found out there from Website, Mailing list, heroes
magazines and alternative spells. All in one place in
my own version of paraphrased or direct wording. No longer
need to consult several sources for the say priest or shadow
magic its all in one place now.

Post 6 : Reference Material: This IS actually
the project I destined
for not the above. The above was the means to the end.
This
contains a GM screen like material that displays spell
info quickly and neatly (mainly Range, Duration, Damage) so
GMs and players can reference things fast. It also has
a brief summary (1 line each) of the spells and other info
at the bottom including MDV limit, those spells with more
or optional info and other needed formula.

Richard, I must say when I first read Book 2 years ago I
though there
wasn't that many spells. I thought that other system
out there
with dragons and those nasty dungeons had more. But
doing this
project sure blew that away :). I think just on the
above stuff we
have enough spells for a good subset of magic. Good
Job! I'm impressed.
Anyways how many spells? 187! 118 from Book 2
and the rest in other
sources.

I'm going to work on my new spells that I want to suggest I
got tons :)
But so not to swamp you guys one thing at a time. Tell
me what
you think and if its useful?

After this project I'll work on Book 3 (A creature Reference
chart
like I psoted awhile back about) and a special project on
ships. I've
gotten 3 books to read on ships of ancient world and want to
devise
soem data for game purposes on ships and such. Figure
I've been
asking for the last 10 years might as well do my own
:)

Then I'll be done with pnp stuff...honesT!!!

Let me know if the final chart post is mis-aligned there are just four
columns but email may strip tabs :<

Keep in mind this is draft 1. Final draft will be done when get
answers to questions :)
