NAUGHTY SCREW THE BIG MOJO PLAYERS COMMENT

The purpose of preservation is to prepare a given body for eventual resurrection. It is not for a part of a given body.

Given this, and the nasty vengeance Kotothi forces are known for, its use on the dragon hide could lead to interesting divine intervention. Given the power of Kototh or Zuriti, and the spell design to preserve the entire body, wouldn't be a big leap to have the hide regrow the Elder Dragon if it is left unattended at night or something. Wonder who it would hunt when it started getting hungry. (If a case can be made that the characters power level disrupts the Balance of the area, Balance might help the Kotothi do it. Might even help the dragon kill them.)

But its based on touch. So a shelf full of food is out. But if he can touch a basket of fruit then the entire basket. So it goes with that level of common
sense. As to a body. Unless one is a cannibal preserving an animal foor food I suppose could be the same thing. But then theres the definition of food. Is "food" prepares or unprepared? Up to the GM.
>
>The problem though is while Preservation prevents food rot that doesn't mean Ants can't have a picnic :) Also means can't be spoiled by weather (damp by rain, etc.). So there are other factors to consider.
>
>Want a way around all that?
>Oblivion.
>
>You could adapt the HPV limit to a FP limit.
>
>
>
>
>_______________________________________________
>pnp mailing list
>pnp@abroere.xs4all.nl
>http://abroere.xs4all.nl/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pnp

Exercise your brain!
