As per the V2 rules, If you cast the Tongues spell at the 5x rate (which
we required as a “ritual”, with a casting rate in minutes instead of
phases), and if you passed the learning test (roll less than
Will+Empathy), you gain the Language at staring EL. For our games,
starting EL in this case is what you roll, limited to a maximum of
80.<br><br>
