From Ben'dar: [Re: Actions]
Ben'Dar abandons #29 since he can't seem to hit the guy.
Rushing past, he levels his pike and charges at Shaman #2,
bellowing as loudly as he can to all his friends, "To me!
The claw is here!!!" Ben'Dar will concentrate all his
attacks on the man with the claw. He will not use subdual
attacks at this point, since he is surrounded by enemies
and can sense something going on with the townspeople
additionally. If he can incapacitate/kill the shaman,
he'll grab the claw and try to use it to force all
enemies to stop fighting.
GM: Ack.
From Chion: [Re: Actions]
Chion, seeing the shaman pulling out a dagger will let one
hand off his staff and pull a sai. He'll thrust it past the
Shaman's head to feign a piecing attack and come up with a
roundhouse foot kick as he turns it sideways and catches
the man behind the neck in an attempt to pull the Shaman
into position between his foot and sai and knock the him
out when foot meets sai. All the while hoping to avoid the
man's own dagger, but not worrying too much about the dog.
If needed he'll use the staff loosely to fend off the dog's
attack and balance his own feint. (ah, he's wearing
chainmail, how hard can it bite? lol... famous last
words... lol...) With any luck, it will look like he
practiced over and over when he was a kid. When/if the
man falls he will show manners and bow long enough to
remove the drum from the man's waste and then knock the
dog over the head with the staff. If the man evades his
feint, he will try to knock him out again the next round,
using less subtle methods. If/when he is ko'd he will first
try to remove the drum before ko'ing or dealing with the
dog.
GM: Ack. Good move.
From Z'leyra on actions:
Z'leyra finishes off the wizard then runs to attack the
other enemy spellcaster or the one with the claw, whichever
is closer.

[New Stuff]
Octaqi 21, in the 163rd Year [TH]
[Meanwhile somewhere on the plains]
[Day 51 of Trip] [Near Enemy camp]
Time: Roughly 2:05am
Turn 2 - Phase 4
[Mana Allocation]
[Strie'bog allocates final mana for a arrow spell.]
[Missile Fire]
[Bowmen #18 reloads and quickly aims at Ben'dar.
The arrow flies over his head and misses.]
[Bowmen #19 aims and fires at Ben'dar again but
the arrow bounces off his chest hide.]
GM: In order to work the Archery Power spells I've
expanded the system to allow Magic Effect ahd
Missile Fire combined. In this theory the Archer
can fire his magical arrow spell at the same time.
[Strie'bog aims at Shaman #2 the Claw holder. He
is due south 22 feet. Standing in the way is a large
campfire that goes up 4 feet. But lucky for Strie'bog
the shaman is on a horse and higher than the fire. The
light of the campfire gives perfect aiming light.
He speaks the final words and hopes the arrow is enchanted
with the spell. He fires slightly up so the arc will take
the arrow downward toward the Shaman. The Shaman is looking
east holding up the Claw. The arrow hits and impacts right
into the left lung. The arrow explodes! The total damage
is 19 points past the leather armor. The arrow penetrates
the leather and lung going 3 inches into the body. It then
explodes shattering ribs and tissue. The Shaman screams
in pain and teeters. He drops the claw onto the ground to
his right and falls backward onto the ground. Strie'bog
is impressed with the spell he has never used before. It
worked better than expected.]
[Magic Effect]
[The transport continues northward taking with it 2 more
villagers off the map and 2 on the extreme north end.]
[Melee & Movement]
[The Shaman's horse scared runs a few feet NW away.]
[Two of the Dogs near Kasha try to bite him again.
One fails but one does clamp on but the teeth does
not penetrate his ring and quilted armor. The
3rd Dog III leaps at Chion but fails to connect.]
[The Dog I near Lodd bites him in the leg doing 3
points of damage. Lodd wavers but continues to stand.]
[Thig is unsure of this but he dives straight for the
claw on the ground. He is unsure if he touches it
what will happen. He lands only having 2 feet between
two villagers. He bends and grabs it then takes to
the air again before anyone can grab him. To his
surprise the claw doesn't do anything to him.]
[Farseeker on the ground places his hand to his chest.
The dagger penetrated his lung. He knows from
battlefield warfare this is a mortal wound. He looks
over to the camp to the south but only wheezes and
can't get anyone to see him. He hopes the others
are doing better than him...then he blacks out.]
[Unali runs north. She sees the Shaman fall and one
other shaman being handled by Chion. She swings both
daggers at bowmen #18 and hits one in the neck and
head doing 7 and 3 points of subdual damage. The
second hit knocks the bowmen out.]
[Ben'dar sees the Shaman fall and then Thig pick up what
could've been the claw. His target is down so he
continues his attack on #29. Happy at the result. The
explosion must've been from Corona? Since he didn't
see the arrow from his angle. He swings his pike
and hits the man in the neck with the side of the
blade (not the sharp end). The man takes 9 points
of damage (subdual) and falls down to the ground.]
[Balrog feels the moving earth near him go north then
he checks Caladan. He has severe damage and he
feels wetness near his neck. he checks and feels
gushing blood. No! The dog must've bite right into
his neck while he was paralyzed. Over his shoulder
he hears Farseeker grasping for air. He isn't
sure its farseeker though due to the darkness in
the area. He tries to stop the bleeding of the neck
wound but it continues to gush as he feels Caladan's
life leaking out. He panics and yells "Healer! Help!"
He wishes he could see Caladan's eyes to assure him but
Caladan is still paralyzed. He tries to clot the wound
but it won't stop!]
[Caladan can feel someone over him. "That's good"
He thinks...but he suddenly feels even colder than
the air around...his legs...his arms..are numb...
a odd sensation...the clouds...they are bluring and
becoming gray...then it all become blackness..]
[Z'leyra swings her dagger and hits the Wizard in the
head under the jaw and does 4 points more of subdual
damage. the wizard goes flying backward unconscious.]
[Shaman #1 swings his dagger at Chion and hits under
the left chest and stabs for 2 points past Chion's
Chainmail.]
[Bowmen #16 curses himself that his bow broke. He
throws it to the ground. He grabs his scimitar
from his belt and charges Ben'dar. he swings wildly
but fails to hit.]
[Jordi runs past the SW tipi and heads north to finally
join the others.]
[Chion crouches and grabs with his left hand his Sai
from his belt. With his right he holds the staff.
While he is not trained in Two weapons fighting he
is only using one weapon technically. He pushes the
sai upwards in his fake attack and does the roundhouse
kick as outlines. The boot doesn't hit the head but
the neck. It pushes the shaman forward into the dagger's
hilt. But the bulk of the damage occurred from the
boot. He takes 6 more subdual damage and with a 70%
chance is knocked out quickly.]
[Kasha swings his mace at one of the dogs but fails to hit.]
[Cetric sees the shaman fall and heads to the left of the
campfire toward Bowmen #19. He spears the bowmen in
the back doing 6 points of damage.]
[Lodd swings on Zen'da #22 but fails to hit.]
[Corr sees the Wizard fall and heads north. He sees
the Dog attacking Chion and helps but fails to hit
the dog.]
[Zen'da #22 swings on Lodd and hits for 2 more points
to the already wounded warrior. Lodd goes to the
ground.]
[The Villagers top moving in place and just stare...]
[Only 3 Zen'da left. Should be able to finish next phase
so let's continue....Look below for second phase...]

[Bowmen #19 aims and fires again at Ben'dar but the
arrow bounces off yet again.]
[Strie'bog aims at Bowmen #19. the spell should allow
one more Exploding arrow. He fires and the arrow hits
doing massive damage to the already wounded bowmen.
It burns him to a good crisp.]

[The transport continues northward off the map.]

[The Dogs suddenly quiet and stop. They sit in their
spots licking their chins.]
[Thig smiles as he flies over the camp...]
[Unali heads north to help Ben'dar she swings both
daggers. One fails to contact but the other hits
doing 6 subdual to the back shoulder. The man
doesn't fall down though.]
]Ben'dar swings from the other side and hits the
warrior #16 and hits doing 3 more subdual damage.
This time the man finally falls.]
[Balrog panics and can't stop the bleeding. He
continues to yell for help from anyone.]
[Z'leyra puts her dagger in her sheath and turns
north by the tent and villagers toward the yelling
Balrog.]
[Jordi heads north.]
[Chion turns to face the Dog but he feels as if the
dog is safe now. He raises his staff in a diagonal
pattern just in case and looks around for other
targets but sees noone in the area.]
[Kasha is the last to take out the Zen'da as he crosses
over and swings on #22 taking the zen'da to the ground.]
