Actions:
Ben'dar hastily dons the leather armor and tucks<br>
two daggers (in
sheaths preferably) into his belt. He<br>
slings the quiver
of arrows over his shoulder and nocks an<br>
arrow to the bow,
which he has at the ready. (In this dark,<br>
stuffy cave, he
would prefer a good heavy spear in his<br>
hands, but he'll
make-do with the weapons at hand for now.)<br>

If no one has
figured out how to open the secret stone/metal<br>
door by the time
he is finished arming himself, Ben'dar will<br>
suggest to Caladan
(If this is feasible. If the statues are<br>
just too big to do
this, he won't say it), "Well, couldn't we<br>
just bash it
down? Let's knock down one of those big stone<br>
statues in the
sacrifice room and use it as a battering ram!"<br>
he says, glaring
back in the direction of the ceremony/<br>
sacrifice room in
anger when he says the word 'sacrifice', "<br>
<br>
General
Tactics: Still being somewhat disoriented and a<br>
newcomer to the
group, Ben'dar will take direction (marching<br>
order, fighting
position, etc) initially from those warriors<br>
in the group who
seem to take charge of such things. For<br>
the first couple
of fights, he will try not to get too much<br>
in the way of this
experienced party who has obviously seem<br>
alot of combat and
who (Ben'dar guesses) knows how to fight<br>
well as a
group. But at the same time, if he sees an opening<br>
during combat, he
will not hesitate to take a shot with the<br>
bow or rush in
with a dagger. After all, he is anxious to<br>
have his revenge
on these Climans who put him through such<br>
suffering and
killed so many of his fellow countrymen!<br>
GM: No spears in this
area. Some lower levels. Ack<br>
on other

off the dead priestess and pockets<br>
it. Then she
grabs the dagger lying on the floor and<br>
puts it
away. She talks about the staff. But no one<br>
approaches it and
leaves it. Ben'dar and Caladan are<br>
too busy talking
to each other.]<br>

[West Hallway]<br>

[Unali enters and
watches the party with the new door.<br>
Thig and Neva
examine the area for a full minute nad<br>
talk quietly in
the sidh language. Then Thig then<br>
turns to the
party.]<br>
Thig: "No magic at
all. Very odd."<br>
<br>
Aren: "Maybe they
didn't expect anyone to get this far.<br>
The basic
stair magic thing would've stopped most."<br>
<br>
Farseeker: "I
hope. But you may be right. They--"<br>
[Neva finds something on
the wall and pulls it slightly]<br>
Neva: "Found a
latch of some kind. Maybe a door handle."<br>
<br>
[East Hallway]<br>
<br>
[Jordi and Sava enter
the hallway stepping through the<br>
portal. The
white orb does as well. Ben'dar, Caladan<br>
and Shah are there
as well. Ben'dar and Caladan are<br>
gathering
equipment for Ben'dar. They are all shocked<br>
to see the two
arrive.]<br>
<br>
[The white orb circles
Jordi and Sava then the portal closes<br>
up and disappears
just as dust, rock and sand slide through<br>
the portal and a
whoosh is heard from the other side. The<br>
orb goes to each
of the others. Caladan swings at it with<br>
his warstaff and
it dances away. Ben'dar backs up then<br>
tries to swing at
it with his hand. It then circles Shah<br>
and quickly takes
a dive and slams into the floor. A second<br>
later it
disappears into the floor...]<br>

Caladan: "What was
that?"<br>
<br>
[Jordi eyes the new
person Ben'dar. Caladan quickly explains<br>
who he is and
where he just came from.]<br>
<br>
[West Hallway]<br>

Farseeker:
"Ok. Neva and others with bows and such stand<br>
back.
That's Neva..Xian...triest..where's triest? and<br>
Thig.
Ready your gear in case we open it and find something<br>
to shoot
at. Where's that ben'dar person."<br>
Aren: "That
...barbarian suggested ramming the door. But<br>
hes down the
hall getting gear."<br>
Farseeker: "He
should be up front since hes not hurt and most<br>
of us
are. We'll need him in that position."<br>

[East Hallway]<br>
<br>
[Kashs goes up and
finds Ben'dar and Jordi with the others.<br>
Surprised to
see Jordi with a newcomer he does a doubletake<br>
then quickly
explains the others have found a door and<br>
are about to
open it.]<br>
<br>
GM: Jordi if you
have dialogue explaining what occured I<br>
can
insert it here. Everyone can keep this in mind<br>
but
it'll likely be in the next update if Jordi inserts it. :)<br>

[West Hallway]<br>
<br>
[Ben'dar, Jordi and the
others head to the other end of<br>
the tunnel and
find the others. Most are shocked and<br>
Jordi does a quick
introduction. Neva eyes Jordi and<br>
quickly gives him
a hug and a peek on the cheek. But<br>
then sees his
wound and feels concerned. She then eyes<br>
Sava the other
female elf and looks back at Jordi with<br>
a raised
eyebrow.]<br>
<br>
Caladan: "No time
for that. We'll do full introductions<br>
later."<br>
<br>
Farseeker:
"Yes. Let's move. I'll open the door..."<br>
<br>
[He walks over and grabs
the latch which is circular and<br>
pulls it. A
second later air breaks and the door opens<br>
up slowly.
He peeks in and sees light but sees no one.<br>
He and a few
others quicklyenter and find it a large<br>
cavern but empty
it seems. A door in the north suddenly<br>
opens and two
guards walk out. They close the door which<br>
is a steel door
and just notice the party at the same time<br>
entering.
One is holding a pike at the ready and the<br>
other is holding a
Battle Axe. Both male guards are wearing<br>
Plate mail.]<br>
<br>
GM: Who wants to tackle
them?<br>
The room is
empty aside from torches on the wall, the party<br>
and the 2
guards. The guards seem calm but startled.<br>
Who enters
the area beyond the door? Who stays out?<br>
