As a note
character sheet updated. You are now EL1<br>
in Susteance
and Water from stone. You do survie<br>
the week but
barely. Another week though would've<br>
been very
hard to survive. You are currently at<br>
23 hits and
3 mana. You had to spend 22 day 30 just<br>
to get back
to present from the 25 you were at. So<br>
your tapped
out mana wise for only 3 mana. But if<br>
I recall
your goal is healing hits. <br>

[About a minute from
now...]<br>
<br>
[Chion decides his time
travel plan and walks toward the<br>
door to the
cave. Suddenly Sava catches him on the<br>
arm and says
quietly a few words. Chion does understand<br>
the elf tongue but
only gathers a few words. He<br>
walks out the door
wondering what she meant by "When<br>
you return run
forward." if that was the correct translation.<br>
Chion teleports
outside to the plank and begins his week<br>
long
journey. After several tense encounters and one where<br>
he was physically
attacked by a Gargoyle on Day 30 he<br>
returns to the
mountain and travels back in time...]<br>
<br>
[Before Chion
returns....]<br>
<br>
[Thig continues to plant
the naptha around the door. The<br>
two guards are
dragged out into the hallway. Those<br>
not doing the
naptha or guards remain hidden behind the<br>
wall alcove in the
rear.]<br>
Xian: "How big of a
explosion will this do?"<br>
Thig: "Not
sure. The wizard i got this stuff from wasn't<br>
to
specific. It could take out a few rocks or take out<br>
the entire
room and the ceiling on us."<br>
Xian: "That's not
too encouraging."<br>
Farseeker: "But if
gives us a slight edge on surprise. They<br>
know we are
here. So it may give a few seconds where<br>
they aren't
ready for us. If we went in one by one in<br>
the door it
could be more dangerous and create a single<br>
area for
them to shoot at. Plus no one had a better idea."<br>
<br>
Thig: "Everyone
ready?"<br>
<br>
Farseeker: "Plug
your ears and get ready. How long is<br>
that
fuse?"<br>
Thig: "That I
know. Its about 45 seconds at this length.<br>
I've played
enough with the fuses to know that."<br>
<br>
[Thig lights the fuse
and flies to the area. No one notices<br>
but Sava that
Chion is not with them. They are too busy<br>
concentrating on
the upcoming unknown battle with stress<br>
and nerves.
The fuse climbs toward the door on the floor.<br>
The magical naptha
enhanced special material is ringed<br>
around the door
and about a foot around the door on<br>
the rock
wall. All tied by a single fuse to set it off<br>
at once. The
fuse slowly burns as everyone covers their<br>
eyes or ducks
behind the wall....]<br>
<br>
[40...35...30
seconds...25...20...15..10...5..]<br>
<br>
[Suddenly those who are
watching the door notice Chion<br>
appear in front of
them having teleported back. He<br>
is facing the
party with the door behind him. He<br>
looks around and
sees no one. Did his time travel<br>
spell fail?
Then he sees Sava, Farseeker, Z'leyra,<br>
Xian and Thig's
head's in the rear of the cave (P7 on map)<br>
behind the
alcove. He wonders why they are hiding then<br>
looks over his
shoulder to see a fuse running on the<br>
ground to the
door. He had a week to mull over what<br>
Sava has said and
tried to translate it in his mind several<br>
times. Then
it hits him...he quickly runs straight<br>
ahead. How
did she know? Three seconds later the<br>
explosion rockets
Chion forward as a strange greenish yellow<br>
fireball erupts
...the shockwave and force blows him the<br>
last 4 feet toward
the party....then a second later rocks<br>
and bits of hot
metal fly past him....Chion is knocked to<br>
the ground flat on
his face..a chunk of rock hits him in<br>
the back of the
neck and does 2 points of damage as blood<br>
gushes...his ears
begin to ring and he loses hearing and<br>
may regain it in a
few minutes...]<br>
<br>
GM: This is how I
mentioned Fate. Fate had a role here and<br>
this is how
it happened. You could've been killed. however<br>
Sava has a
special divination technique that allowed her<br>
words to
save you. If she hadn't had the technique (which<br>
was purely
random when I created her) you'd have been<br>
only 3 feet
from the explosion and suffered massive damage.<br>
<br>
[Before the smoke clears
the party rushes around the rocks<br>
and
charge...]<br>
<br>
[Thig flies over Chion
and fades from visibility as he<br>
flies toward the
smoke...his keen eyes disocver what<br>
the party later
finds out. That the door has blown in<br>
2 feet. A
2.5 foot area around the door in every diration<br>
also blew out or
disintegrated in every directions. Thus<br>
leaving a 9 foot
hole enough for 3 people side by side to<br>
go in...he flies
in and immediately up to sense for magic..]<br>
<br>
[Farseeker rushes
forward and enters the room next...]<br>
<br>
[Triest with heavy
crossbow rushes toward the smoke and<br>
takes up a
position up against the wall.]<br>
<br>
[Unali, Neva, Ben'dar,
Caladan rush forward.]<br>
<br>
[Those in the new room
aren't immediately confronted and<br>
they feel
relieved...]<br>
<br>
[Chion rolls over and
wonders what just occurs. He puts<br>
a hand to his head
and feels blood as he sits up..]<br>
<br>
[Kasha and Cholan step
around Chion and run for the hole<br>
where the smoke is
clearing..]<br>
<br>
[Z'leyra and Sava come
around the corner and stop at Chion.<br>
Z'leyra quickly
helps to stop the bleeding and examine for<br>
other
damage. While this is occuring Sava prepares a<br>
healing spell
after she asks Chion. Chion nods.]<br>
GM: Per your email
request of healing. Since its a new day<br>
this is
healing #1. New day for you that is. <br>
<br>
[Jordi, Suresh, Xian and
the diplomats take up the rear<br>
to enter the new
room last. ]<br>
<br>
[New phase...]<br>
<br>
[Z'leyra finishes her
quick healing skill and stops the<br>
bleeding of the
head. Sava then places hands and heals<br>
10 points of
damage. Chion feels alot better now.]<br>
GM: Chion. You are now
only *2* hit points down from max.<br>
But your tapped
out to only 3 mana points.<br>
<br>
[The smoke begins to clear and
those in the new room now see<br>
a large cavern.
Its about 45 feet wide and 120 feet long<br>
from north to
south. The first thing seen is a large column<br>
that seems to go from
ground to ceiling of stone not the<br>
rock that is made up of
the walls or ceiling but a whiter<br>
stone and flat/shaved
stone. The columns go up to the<br>
ceiling which is about
30 feet high in this cavern.<br>
<br>
When the smoke clears
the others see there are 4 total<br>
columns in the
room. The floor is cleaned up no rubble<br>
or stones. As if
racked or some spell used to clean it<br>
from all dust and
debris. You could roll a marble on the<br>
ground and have no
interruptions. In the center of the<br>
floor appears to be a
small circle about 10 feet in diameter.<br>
There seems to be a red
stain of paint or dye around the<br>
circle that outlines
it. At this distance no other detail<br>
is seen. On the
right is a large long cabine that is about<br>
15 feet long hugging the
wall. Its made of wood and finely<br>
crafted. Its
closed but on top looks like crystal glasses<br>
like it could be a
food/water/liquor bar. There are torch<br>
stands along the wall
that stand about 5 feet high and are<br>
large flames.
There are 4 lanterns at the cardinal points<br>
just above the circle in
the center of the room that complete<br>
'dark' regions of the
area to make the room completely well<br>
lit. In the far
north appears to be some cloth against each<br>
side of the wall.
They are about 30 feet long. Their detail<br>
is not seen at this
angle.<br>
<br>
At the rear of the room
is a large throne. It looks to be<br>
made of stone inset with
some small gems and marble in some<br>
areas. When
sitting on the throne the seat is about a foot<br>
wider than a normal
person. It has a back to it that raises<br>
about a foot higher than
a normal person. There are cushions<br>
on the back and seat to
make it comfy. There are cloths on<br>
the arms to make it
comfy as well. The throne has a couple<br>
of small torch stands
near it that stand at 7 feet tall. As<br>
if to show the greatness
of the person and throne in a deep<br>
light or spot light type
effect.<br>

As the smoke clears
folks are seen in the room. Those<br>
marked 1-4 on the map
are guards. All male.<br>

probably a good chance its a Priestess.<br>
Beside her on each side
of the throne are two mailes.<br>
Both are males. <br>

- Those with perfect 20/20 vision<br>
can barely
see but it appears this one is grinning. He<br>
stands with
arms crossed. He is wearing dark black pants<br>
with a light
blue tunic shirt. It looks like he only<br>
has a dagger
on his belt. He stands about 6 foot and<br>
about 180
pounds. <br>

Person marked as #6 -
This one is wearing simple brown<br>
tunic and
tan pants. He is wearing a blue and yellow<br>
cape however
that flows down to his ankles. He is holding<br>
a
warstaff. He is standing 6 foot 6 and about 160 pounds.<br>
<br>
[The man #5 nods when
the group enters. He then smiles<br>
wider when Xian
one of the last to enter. he then<br>
yells out.]<br>
<br>
Man: "Very
nice! About time brother!"<br>
<br>
[Man #6 leans to the
Priestess and speaks something but<br>
doesn't seem to be
too loud for the party to hear. He<br>
then stands back
standing solem faced and grim.]<br>
<br>
[The priestess just sits
there as well as the guards just<br>
stand where they
are.]<br>

Man #5: "Now what
shall we do?"<br>
