"If the stampede goes through only the north<br>
gate, it will
still be effective. As long as the people are<br>
not directly in
the path of the horses, it is a risk that we<br>
must take.
Thig, if you are confident that the north gate<br>
is clear of
villagers, I think we should move forward with<br>
our attack and not
give the enemy any more chances to learn<br>
of our imminent
attack. Another scouting mission seems a<br>
needless risk at
this point."<br>

Thig: "I did fly fast and
quickly. I could be off a bit<br>
but I'm about 85%
confident of the info. Course things<br>
can change as the
hours go on and the night gets later."<br>

Farseeker: "Are you all
right Caladan?"<br>
<br>
Caladan: "A minor
wound. I can bear it. Over the years<br>
I've learned to
deal with pain. As you know the firesnake<br>
has a bite that is
very painful. Through accidents and<br>
tease play I've
been nicked a few times. That pain has<br>
helped build up a
resistance to pain in general terms."<br>

Kasha: "So do we trust
Cetric and Praelux to join us or do<br>
we leave them here
tied up or with a guard?"<br>
<br>
Caladan: "Frankly I think
they were just out of their<br>
minds a bit
through the bugs. Cetric is a shaman and<br>
they are known for
their his will power. If he was<br>
succomb to the
bug's delusions he could've killed me<br>
but he
didn't. Praelux on the other hand likely has<br>
little will power
so probably did try to kill me."<br>

Kasha: "So take both with
us?"<br>

Caladan: "Yes. We
are up to at LEAST two to one. Likely<br>
three to one and
maybe as extreme as four to one. We<br>
need all the
people we can."<br>

Thig: "Praelux has a bug
so get rid of it?"<br>

Caladan: "Yes
please."<br>

[Thig has Praelux stand still
then sit so Thig can be tall<br>
enough to deal with the
bug. He takes some water and<br>
the bug escapes but is
crushed by Thig's boot. Praelux<br>
looks still
blank.]<br>

Thig: "Should I release
him from the spell?"<br>
<br>
Caladan: "Yes.
We'll need him alert for the battle."<br>

[Thig speaks a few quick words
and the control spell ends.<br>
Praelux looks around in
the darkness confused a bit.]<br>

Praelux:
"What?"<br>

Caladan: "Do you remember
anything?"<br>
<br>
Praelux: "..I...yes..but
i ..don't understand it..."<br>

Caladan: "You were
affected by something. You tried to<br>
kill me as you
fled to the enemy camp."<br>

[Praelux stands to his feet
quickly. Thig jumps to the<br>
sky as well.]<br>
<br>
Praelux: "No! I
didn't."<br>
<br>
Caladan: "You did
cousin. I'll explain it to you but<br>
how do you feel
now?"<br>

Praelux: "A
headache. Confused and a bit dizzy."<br>

[Caladan walks toward Praelux
and leads him down to the<br>
ground where they begin
to whisper and Caladan explains<br>
things to him.]<br>

[Farseeker turns and gets back
to plans.]<br>

Farseeker: "Cetric do you
feel the same?"<br>
<br>
Cetric: "A headache
yes. But not so the other things.<br>
I will not let any
of you down."<br>

Farseeker: "If it weren't
for Caladan and his judgement<br>
and we needing you
I'd assume leave you here. But<br>
I trust
Caladan."<br>

Farseeker: "Ok.
This is what I think our positions should<br>
be....There are 3
areas to be. North, South and East.<br>
The West is where
the horses will likely head. Balrog<br>
being our Thief
will need to go East to get the corral<br>
gate. I'll
go to protect him. Thig can take to the<br>
air and cover us
from there. Ben'dar can join us<br>
near the corral
for his horse experience. Kasha<br>
can be the main
warrior in the north. Unali can snake<br>
around to the
south with her black clothing. Lodd and<br>
Rin can go north
with Kasha. Corr an go south. That<br>
leaves the main
fighters. Strie'bog can head north<br>
for archery
practice. Jordi can go south for the same<br>
thing.
Z'leyra can head north. This is so that<br>
those who can see
in the dark is in the North and<br>
South. Thig
can help us in the East. That leaves<br>
Chion who can head
to the South to help the others.<br>
Caladan can join
us in the east. Does this sound good?<br>
I tried to split
up skills and experience. Divide up<br>
the groups into
equal amounts of warriors, archers and<br>
wizards."<br>
