From Mae: [Re: Actions]
Maelorna takes a calming breath and wills her fingers...
"I... I am Maelorna." she offers hesitantly. "and I...
GM: Ack. I may just call you Mae if don't mind. First I'm
lazy and second a bad speller. :)

From Kell: [Re: Actions]
The tall near-sidh sits back and lets everyone else handle the
main chores. Finding a new person, one that was a slave. Or is
and is now running away. Either way, she needs to be free.
Looking around and inspecting the area to make sure we are all
safe, doing a quick circuit as fast as his horse can run.
GM: Ack.

From Kell: [Re: Actions]
Ha'Kell rides over to Maelorna, after scouting around...

He looks are her intently, even reaching down to inspect the

collar. His face gets even redder... "We mean you no harm, ...

Even after that he will cast Detection [Max EL] on it, for
any kind of magic or traps to the one enslaved by the collar.

Assuming there are no traps on the collar or magic issues,
he inspects it further to remove it.

If there is no obvious way, he considers the options for a
moment. If there is no way for the group to remove it, no
way to cut it or unlock it then Kell will begin his
summoning. A gnome should be able to use a pair of cutters
and remove it in one swift cut.
GM: Ack. Detection is for one thing so will assume it is for
Magic. Traps is a bit generic. Mechanical or magic traps?
May need to clarify. :)
From Mae: [Re: Actions]
Maelorna still remembered the patron who had given her...
[Janaq 27th, 1635TH]
[Zen'da Western Plains]

[Time: 8:20 pm]

Kell asks Dorhak about a possible magical mace.

"Auch! You cheeky little..no dwarf would even.." He waits
a bit. "Auch! You're yankin' mah beard, man! No self
respecting dwarf would allow cutting his, or her, beard without
blood being spilled."

"A free magic mace...? Are ye daft man? Nothing is for
free. What do you want?"

Lucria looks up puzzled, "excuse me. Can someone translate
this so he understands. He asked females have beards? Is
this...normal?'

"Back in Ba'Ru, there was a set of house full of dwarves
and all they did was grow and sell beard hair...," smiling
and laughing Dorhak. "Free. No money. Someday I may
ask for a favor or two or three. That is enough for me."

"Besides someday I may request your beard shavings. There
is nothing so warm as a crocheted sweater from dwarf beard
hair. No. Don't ask me about it." grinning madly at the
thought.

Dorhak looks at the 'funny' human. It doesn't make any
sense. Giving that kind of gift?

"Such, I dunno what ah can do for yah, mon. I'm not sure I
can turn you down, but I'm not sure I want to be in debt
either." Dorhak replies.

"Well then. How about this. When we get the chance, you
introduce me to some of your other kin that may be able to
supply that excellent dwarven dark ale. And the even more
special dwarved golded ale. How is that for a bargain?"

[Febris 1st, 1635TH]
[Zen'da Western Plains]

[Time: 7:15 pm]

The River Barge bobs up and down on the river among the
forest anchored in place. Captain Drax has done this route
every couple years. He knows every other year there is a
small chance the river will meet streams connecting to the
Zen'da river to the east and south. It is a gamble. But
with the furs, pelts and metals for trade he hopes to get
some trading with the Zen'da and maybe travel south to more
civilized areas.

His last crewman had died from disease months ago. With
luck he found another man to help on the barge Then it
was nice to gain 3 passengers who could pay. The first two
a couple of barbarian hunters he could not understand. But
he could understand the gems they offered. The fools handed
over the entire bag of their gems.

Then while on shore trading with a tribe hundreds of miles
to the west he saw her. The red haired emerald eyed girl.
He just had to have her. She had walked out of the woods as
if some ghost. Captain Drax only understood a few words of
Marentia but enough to grin as she wanted help going east.
She would not speak much or do much. She could not offer
much in return but Drax had plans for that.

That was a couple weeks ago. It was indeed time to leave
that tribe as trouble would soon follow. While hiking in
the hills looking for possible mining sites he scouts for,
he encountered a lone tribal woman in her 30s. She was
collecting berries. Drax decided he needed her as well
as he hadn't had a woman in months. But a simple ambush
and a nice knife was enough to drag her into the bushes.
But Drax was disappointed by the woman who had obviously
had kids and was used up. So on the walk back she 'slipped'
on some rocks and fell down a ravine. He would go find her
and check on her and she was alive. But if she told he might
not be able to trade here again. So a simple correction to
that fall - a neck broken - and it was all cleaned up.

Then this girl showed up out of the blue. Surely she wasn't
used up. He offers passage for free and knows he will collect
soon enough.

Drax tried to get along with the other sailor a man who likes
to wonder the world. But Drax is too distracted by the girl.
She would always flirt but looking or bend down looking in the
water and displaying her rear to the others. Drax even pinched
that nice rear and she didn't react. A good sign for him.

Now weeks later the barge which is only 60 feet long and 40
feet wide hovers in the water for the night. Normally at
night the barge anchors and the crew will go ashore and collect
food or water if possible. The cold journey is harsh this winter
when no fire is allowed on the barge so the cold wind is ice
into the veins of the passengers.

Captain Drax had hears strange noises in the north Kameran
forest and decided no shore party this time. The barge itself
is a simple one deck boat with a simple small sail and rudder
in the back but not seaworthy. In the rear part are crates and
barrels of water and salted meats from hunts. The crates are
full of various trade items. The crates lined up in a reverse
U where the open is back of the ship is where Drax's personal
tent is. He allows the girl inside for the last few days

The others use simple sleeping mats and blankets for a
sleep area on the open deck. Tonight there is a single
oil lantern on one crate lighting up 40% of the barge but
it is still dark.

But below the surface the clan of Asrai lurk and swim about.
They dislike boats on this section of the river. They decide
to set an example. One of them cuts the two ropes that lead
to the stone anchor. The barge begins to float upstream to
the east.

The Asrai wait up river where they made unnatural rapids with
rocks and stones. A place to sink such boats. Captain Drax
is still awake drinking the last of his ale. The other 3 men
are asleep he assumes as they are quiet. But Drax decides tonight
is the night. He quietly moves to his tent.

Drax feels the boat move but being drunk figures it is his
imagination. He draws his knife and enters the tent where
the girl is probably resting. He creeps up on her and reaches
to place a hand over her mouth when suddenly something rocks
the boat.

Then another blam and another. Mae sits up and stares at
the old man in his 40s and draws her dagger. But the boat
lurches to the side. Captain Drax curses and exits the tent
and stares as trees move by in the darkness. He rushes to
the anchor and stumbles in his drunken state but finds no
anchor. He yells for the other sailor to wake up.

But suddenly lightning brightens the skies as a storm
breaks. Wind and rain come suddenly and the captain rushes
to the front to see where they are going using the lantern.

As the other sailor tries to control the rudder and grab
for the poles to steer the ship lightning hits a tree
nearby causing Drax to drop the lantern. Darkness descends
on the boat as the storm rages on.

As the rocks hit the boat they begin to batter and hammer the
wood hull. Drax orders the boat to shore even to beach it
but the winds do not help with steering. Then one large boulder
hits the underside and a crack is heard even above the boom
of the thunder.

Water begins to seep onto the deck from blow cracks from the
thin hull. The two barbarian hunters try to figure out what
is going on but they can't swim. In the darkness a Asrai
slices one of the men's leg and he falls to the water and is
dragged under. The other is attacked by 2 Asrai who pull
him over the side and into the water.

Captain Drax realizes the boat is sinking but unaware of
the lost 2 passengers due to noise of the storm He
tells his sailor to go ashore He goes to the girl and
drags her to the side but she goes back to get her gear
and crossbow. Mae has no experience swimming so decides
to hang onto the back of the captain as they move toward
the shore some 20 feet away.

As they near the shore Mae can feel something touch her
legs but unsure if its weeds or fish? As Mae climbs onto the
beach she hears Drax yelp as if something hits him. But
Mae crawls through the weeds and bush away from the crazy
water. She reaches a clump of bushes and huddles under the
tree against the cold damp rain. Some of her gear may be
strewn about but at this point she needs to be warm and
away from the water.

The storm rages for a half hour or so as it seems. Finally
it begins to stop and Mae listens out. Where are the others?
It is dark as a witch's heart. Then she hears movement and
grunts sounding like Drax. But she can't tell from what
direction. The drunk captain must be crawling or stumbling
about. She cares nothing for that sick man so does not
go to find him.

Later she hears groans but think its is the Captain wounded.
Then she hears large movement in the woods. Then a growl.
Then a male's scream. A noise like a animal seems to growl
and then Mae hears a loud snap like a rib breaking and
then more screams. Soon the screams end and Mae sits huddled
in the bushes.

Adrenaline and exhaustion soon overwhelms Mae and she falls
asleep.
[Febris 2nd, 1635TH]
[Zen'da Western Plains]

[Time: 7:15 am]

Fuk urges Z'leyra to discuss the Kameran society after
3 weeks of travel without a word about it.

Z'leyra tells the party about the Kameran. "Numbering
perhaps 60,000, the Kameran are comprised of the Alesi and
Kameri tribes. While one out of five may be warriors, only 400
comprise the elite of the warrior Ancient Moss Society. All
respect them. Near the head of the river is The Ancient Moss
Fortress, do not expect to be invited into it and DO NOT try
to sneak into it. Note that there are parts of the fortress
that only the Kameran women may go to and only some of them.

The Kameran has much wildlife and hunting is part of our
life. We also do mining and we have many fine weaponsmiths.
the men worship Ashur and Vagagn. The women keep their worship
secret. Minor crimes are dealt with as best can be by the
victim, the victim's family and friends, sometimes feuds result.
Major crimes are dealt with by the women's societies, often the
punishment will be a curse, or for females, ostracism. Generally
those of the Kameran like fine craftsmanship, celebrations and
challenges, both mental and physical. Visitors are welcome for
only a month unless a high status member of one of the societies
extends an invitation to stay longer."

Constable Fuk looks puzzles as they ride toward the forest
border. "So you say...we...our. I thought you left this land
some what 3 years ago? You consider this still your land
even though they pretty much kicked you and your faather away?"

Lucria nods on the confused part of the speech. "I was under
the impression the land was closed to outsiders? This seems to
conflict with what we know."

Kiet says, "Ok...so, is it illegal, or against their
traditions, for men to use magic? I'm concerned we might cause,
um, a riot. Or violate their taboos."

"I, for one, hope to avoid any casting whatsoever."

"Ah right," Z'leyra replies to Kiet. "Sorry about that. I was
brought up by a family with a female shaman and a non-magic
using father. I am not truly sure of the LAW. I do know that
Kameri males do not get to use magic. I suspect that magic
use by visiting males would be at least frowned upon. Certainly
so if done publicly."

[Febris 3rd, 1635TH]
[Zen'da North Border]

[Time: 8:36 am]

The party moves toward the new girl and almost surround
her to get a good look at this newcomer.

Maelorna gratefully feels the tree through her back, as she
tries to shake the shock of fear out of her mind. It's hard to
miss the large man looming over, threatening or curious, she has
little to go on, her grip tightens on the hilt of the dagger, as
she tilts her head to the side, one eye hidden behind her bangs,
her eyes show a range of emotions, from calculation to
hesitation. "Sister?" she asks incredulously, in Marentian, as
she flicks her gaze about to quickly try and see all who have
arrived, lingering however on the on the large man spoke to. Her
eyes narrow as she spots the whip, as unbidden thoughts of such
punishment come to mind and she quells it as best she can.
"Di,..did Gniled hire you?" she asks hesitantly in Marentian,
trying to hide the dread in her voice. If this were just a
single hunter, she might take her chances with a quick fight,
but if Gniled hired all of these, she knew flight wasn't even
possible as she was certain with this many, she couldn't outrun
them.

She could feel the scrutiny from those getting closer, but
the one who first startled her was glaring at her, 'Did she
know either the captain or his crew?' she tried to ignore the
voice in her head. Maelorna chose to err on the side of caution
and lowered her gaze demurely. She fights the urge to jump as
one of them kneels down in front of her, obviously ignoring the
dagger in her hands, which either he considered her little to no
threat at all or didn't mean to harm her. She self-consciously
tries to pull the cloth of her winter cloak closer together, if
only to hide her collar, but fears they already spotted it,
considering the glare she was getting from the one female.

'Come on Mae, if they find them, you have to explain, think
of something quick, even if you can't remember what happened'
she ignores the voice for now and immediately spots when the
dwarf picks up her pack. She scrambles to stand up, grateful
for the tree helping her to maintain her balance, glaring for
a moment as her ruck sack is picked up, but more alarmingly
her crossbow!

With a well practiced tone, she calls over to the dwarf and
gives a warm inviting smile, "I can promise you, I have no
monies or valuables in my pack, just the tools of my." as she
hesitates, loathe to call Gniled anything, "owner, allowed."
she looks at the dwarf, hoping her eyes don't reflect the worry
she felt as if they chose to rob her, she would have little
recourse. "As for the crossbow, it was a gift, from a patron
that found my talents much to his liking" she smiles wistfully
and puts her hand up to her lips. The shout nearby stops her
as she turns to look.

Z'leyra approaches and says. "Hello, I am Z'leyra. We do not
plan to hurt you. Do you understand me?" First in Kameran, then
Marentian then Zen'da and thru other human languages till she
gets an understandable response.

Unali approaches and notices the very attractive girl. Then
she hears her speak a few words. A distinct eastern dialect
of Marentian. She hasn't heard that style since work with Duke
Aren.

"Morning. I am Unali. " She will pause to see if the others
introduce themselves as well. After that she starts a
conversation with the girl.

"Who might you be that you have ended up in this wild lands
all by yourself. By your speech I would have placed you a long
journey to the south and not in these cold lands."

Z'leyra stands hearing Pyan yell about a found body. The
healer has checked on the girl and she seems fit. But
she may be needed for this new person. Arawn also heads
to Pyan's voice to investigate.

"Watch out or you might impress these boys with your skills.
But given how dangerous these lands can be, I would be more
interested to know if you can handle that fancy bow of yours
equally well."

Lucria continues to stare at the very cute girl. He
hears distantly the words of Unali. Skills? What does
she see in her in just a few seconds? Lucria then moves his
eyes up and down the girl. Trying to assess her skills. With
a dagger and a fancy bow? Could she be a slave bodyguard?

Mae notices another man on his horse doing a wide arc around
the group, even moving along the rocky shore. This makes her
a bit nervous for some reason.

Maelorna takes a calming breath and wills her fingers to
loosen upon the hilt of the dagger, before she manages to slip
it carefully into it's sheath. She regards Z'leyra as the woman
speaks in Marentian, "I... I am Maelorna." she offers
hesitantly. "and I understand, you have me at a disadvantage.
If Gniled has sent you, please, just move on, I don't have any
valuables, but I can offer my skills companionship for a length
of time?" she tries to keep the sound of desperation from her
voice.

Z'leyra turns over her shoulder and nods to the girl who
introduces herself as she moves to find Pyan.

As Unali offers her name, Maelorna's smile fades, "Well,
before this, " as she indicates the parts of a wreckage, "The
captain of the ship was kind enough to allow me passage. As for
where I was heading, it didn't matter, as long as I was able to
get far enough away." she offers and then looking back at the
dwarf, "As for the crossbow, I am adept at it, he insured I
knew it's use after giving it to me as payment for the time I
was orde.. " as she pauses and looks away, "He gave it to me,
as a gift, even if." as she sighs.

Fuk's glare softens and he understands now. He still has many
questions but there is plenty of time later. He grabs Lucria
by the shoulder. Then slaps him on the back of the head to
force him out of his daze staring at the girl. "Let's go
find this body."

Lucria grunts at the pain, "nah. I'll stay here and help
her. That bow looks heavy she may need help carrying it."
he starts to move toward Dorhak.

Ha'Kell rides over to Maelorna, after scouting around and
checking for anyone nearby. He dismounts, his very handsome and
striking face red. She can't tell if it's anger at her or
frustration or just a fierce-ness. Those in the group can tell
Kell is upset.

Kell looks at her intently, even reaching down to inspect
the collar. His face gets even redder... "We mean you no harm,
very probably we mean you something that are very good. I'm
Ha'Kell. A trader of some or none renown. We need to get
this collar off of you. Now. Never again will you wear one..."
He then asks everyone, "How can we get this collar off?
Now!!"

"Hold still," the half-elf's voice brooks no argument. He
pauses inspects the collar with his Mana Sensing.

Mae steps back and places her hand back on the dagger. Her
chest begins to ache and her heart pounds. These people are
mad! Don't they know?

Kell tries to get a good glimpse of the collar. But the
winter coat seems to block it. But those who can sense magic
detect it clearly. The silver collar glows a pale gray
white of magic inlaid. Kell frowns at the magic and wonders
what kind of magic.

Maelorna still remembered the patron who had given her the
crossbow and paused for a moment reflecting upon him, before
she realized a rider with a horse stopping close enough to
touch her. She holds her breath as she can see the handsome
individual scrutinizing her as he looks angrily at her and
reaches down to inspect the collar.

She can feel her heart beating heavily in her chest as he
brushes his fingers against the collar to examine it, 'Ha'Kell
he names himself, but of what renown she is uncertain,
considering she was further away from the city or wastelands
for that matter' she asks herself.

"Th.. that is comforting?" she offers as he talks about
the collar and she blanches, "œn.. No, m.. " as she sighs,
"owner, sealed it on himself, I.. I've tried to remove it
before, I have some magics, what he put on it, I can't remove
or dispel." as she gives him a wistful smile, "While I can
unlock any man's ardor with pleasure or even the ones that
like pain, sadly, the collar isn't a man and it resists any
tool I've tried upon it, from pick to sheers and each attempt
is painful as whatever he put on it burns."

Fremea circles around the girl and sees the magic indeed.
A powerful warded item. Anger builds inside her knowing how
the girl feels. She saw such collars in Donara on her own
kind but those were simple magic, easy to remove. She
can sense this is powerful. Then she hears the girl say
something new about her. She knows magic as well?

Kell draws back his fingers and considers his options Can
he dispel such a spell on the collar?

Fremea stares at the collar (she is mana sensing, the collar
and the woman). Once she knows what she is looking at, she
realizes most of the men are circling her, maybe they are just
worried about her, but she does seem to be casting the
flirtatiousness towards some of them too.

Speaking in Marentian, "I believe we can remove that and
then you can run further. Yet, from all that I have learned
about these lands, I would suggest you stay with us." Her
expression changes to some anger, "No one should ever be a
slave to someone else!"

She will see about what is needed to do to remove the
collar, getting Arawn to help in doing so. But Arawn and
Z'leyra are off some distance away.

From the right Dorhak looks at the fancy repeating crossbow.
A very nice and expensive item. But probably sneeze and
it breaks.

Dorhak says, almost to himself "I don't even know what's
going on. I can barely understand her."

"I'm sure not going to just hand over this...this contraption."
holding the odd crossbow

The dwarf listens as they talk about that shiny collar in
some fashion understanding a few words. Something about
magic and removing it or did Kell say he wanted to wear it?
Maybe he needs to refigure those last words.

Maelorna looks at the fae and smiles hopefully, "I would
keep running, but you're right, I do not even know what land
I'm in, the Captain had just said he would happily get me to
another city or town. If your group would accept me, I'll
happily stay with you. I already know my chances on my own,
in a city, I would just run, but here, I'm as good as dead.
If your able to remove the collar, then I'm indebted and would
work until the debt is repaid."

Mae hears the dwarf mumble but doesn't understand him.

She hears the dwarf and looks over to see him still holding
the crossbow. She looks at Fremea, "If he is intent on keeping
my crossbow, he'll need the clips for it, in the lower right
pocket of the pack, there are 2 clips, the bolts are inside
the pack, with the tools and clothes I wore when so ordered. I
just ask to be allowed to keep my dagger?" she asks hopefully,
"While my talents for magic pale in comparison to my owne-" as
she stops herself, "to him. I did learn, though the other
skills I have he failed to truly take into account, else I
wouldn't be here."

Fuk smiles and looks at the Dwarf. "Dorhak. Hand over the
gear." He speaks slowly so he understands the words.

Fremea looks at the short bearded man? and quietly says,
"Those things belong to her. You will give them over as we
will need to have everyone in fighting condition." (If he
doesn't understand her words, she will use shorter phrasing,
"Give now, not yours."

Dorhak grunts and tosses the sack to the ground. He starts
to drop the crossbow when the girl seems to get upset and
he realizes this is a fine weapon so leans down and gently
places it on the ground. He begins to mumble to himself and
wander about curious to see if any other items in the area
he can find.

[Time: 8:41 am]

Arawn and Z'leyra reach the area where Pyan yelled They
both see Pyan over a body in the bushes. The two healers
rush to see if they can help. But in seconds they notice
the man in his 40s is ripped open. Pyan looks to the man's
groin and it is ripped off entirely. Some of his ribs and
mostly his stomach torn open. Looks like he has been half
eaten. There is little hope for the man.

Arawn does a quick prayer for the man as they inspect the
wounds. Pyan comments that it has to be bear wounds. The
cuts are too deep. Plus a half print in the mud he points
to seems to indicate a bear. He also finds a bit of black
fur on a bush. Blood and entrails lead away to the north
west.

The body which seems to have been dragged from the shore
some 95 feet away is now about 80 from the slave girl.

Pyan tenses and whispers that they are not alone. He
whispers as best he can in broken Marentia that to distract
the scene and he'll go check. Z'leyra seems to understand
and begins to comment out loud on the wounds. Pyan slinks into
the woods in the north.

Arawn steps up as if going back to the girl and moves into
the trees to the south.

Back near Mae it is now just Lucria, Kiet, Kell, Unali and
Fremea. Fuk has moved on to help Z'leyra and Dorhak has
gone to search.

Kell listens intently, and is examing the collar. He uses
mana >sensing and then multiple detection spells if it is safe.
He doesn't >want to set off any traps.

"Fremea and Kiet, what do you sense on this collar?"

Fremea reaches for the collar and this seem to put Mae
at ease more than the handsome man. Fremea reaches out her
own senses and reads the collar. She lowers her hand
and frowns. She explains the collar has Chaotic magic
on it. There is one spell on it of moderate level. It does
seem to be a spell of pain of some sort. This confirms what
Mae said between the lines. She looks to the others and
explains it seem to above apprentice level magic.

Lucria listens and becomes worried. "You can't help this
poor girl? Can't you do that stop or end or erase magic
thing on the collar thing? That druid fellow did that
with Unali's curse right?"

Kiet and Kell consider their options but know going against
Chaos magic might be harder for them. But Fremea can read
their faces. She can certainly try and might have a 50-60%
chance of erasing the magic and the same for removing the
spell in it. She glances up at Z'leyra. The 2 healers could
certainly get rid of it but a fellow ex slave helping out
would do more for Mae's morale?

[Time: 8:44 am]

Pyan follows the trail of bent limbs and tries to find the
thing he saw for only a glimpse.

But Arawn is faster with going invisible by his very nature
in the woods. For a few minutes it takes him time to search
and then he spots it. A figure crouched in the bushes
some distance away.

As Arawn closes in he sees it as a human male. But when
Pyan approaches from the other side and holds his bow in hand.

Arawn watches as the startled man stands and draws a spear up
and points at Pyan. But Arawn can read him as confused and
a bit dazed. If he was Kameran he'd be more confident it would
seem.

Standing at 6' 3" with a stocky build. The man's dark hair
is kept to the current fashions, close on the sides, long to
the front with a braided rear. His beard and mustache are
close cropped and an amused gleam appears on his contenace
more oft than not. His skin is deep-tanned from hours spent
in the open beneath the open skies. Pale green eyes invite
discourse and show and inquisitive nature.

[Time: 8:47 am]

Dorhak walks the shore line east of the slave girl and
her fancy gear. He spots pieces of wood, broken crates,
a wet blanket, some thing ripped cloth with bindings that
may be a sail, a flask, a broken lantern in the water..wait
a flask? Dorhak rushes back and lifts it up. He opens
it and sniffs. By the great Rune Masters of Kalath! It
is rum! Dorhak grasps the flask to his chest and looks around.
No one saw. He shakes the flask. It is only a few sips but
it smell so good! Should he share?

Next Update..Monday??

GM: Wow Guys 700 lines a big update since last one. You guys
did a lot of role playing. Believe it or not this was not
ALL. There were tons of emails back and forth in private
talks. Some I did not even include here or it'd be another
300-500 lines. But I think at this point we can stop though
most of above was recap old stuff.

I HAVE to (mandatory) do these benefits project and only
have 1 week. So I can't quarantee a Friday Update.
But I'll try Monday. The amazon project is vital as well
since I'm down to my last 60 pages on my last book. :)
Boredom for a GM sitting at work with no books means same
GM can come up with very NASTY things for characters. :)

There was a heck load of emails back and forth in private
talks. Some like with David/Tobie I did not include here.
I've not seen this many private email stuff in years. :)
But again unless stated as it being 'private' it will be
assumed public and posted here for story purposes.

GM: Arawn is now NPC so will be doing minimal stuff.

Fremea - Want to try to dispel the collar binding magic
and then the spell?

Kell/Kiet - You guys can try to dispel but it would be
harder if not trained in Chaos area.

Pyan - Your chance to be diplomat! Do you kill this guy
or say something? :) Keep in mind he is a new player
so killing a pc might be bad for that guy.
Mae - You can describe what collar does if it helps.

GM: Since we have 2 new players (3rd on his way) I'll remind
folks of posting styles. I use date/time stamps to
show difference in the time. A lot of things go back in
terms of say actions or conversations. This allows those
old talks to continue as we move in the present. Some like
Arawn (and sometimes Kiet/Kell) will use time stamps to
let me know where this entire post context goes. This
helps a lot. Otherwise I have to guess was this Feb 2 or
Jan 28th? That sort of thing. I assume unless stated
otherwise all posts are in current date (last date).

I allow Retro actions so if you want to continue a talk sure
go ahead from the other day. Some actions like "oh well
I bring my sword into this tavern as the bar fight starts"
well those won't be done. That action would affect the
present fight. So would have to prepare by bringing in said
sword. :)

GM: Perm Magic Failure: Last update I mentioned Kell's spells.
With a failure. Failures for some spells ruins what you
are making. But due to the Dedicated spell I was a bit
confused on it as it was years since I used it. So I
had to redo the entire set of spells, text and math
3 times. I may have left the failure from round 2 in by
mistake. But in fact when did the 3rd set there was no
failure. It was a big difference of about 90 MEP in the
terms of changes by the 3rd round. But I was so
frustrated with it I just never rewrote that section.

GM: Final Leg estimated:
Feb 3 -- River/Crossing [Current]
Forest 10 Miles
Camp in Forest
Feb 4 -- Forest 15 Miles
Hills ~25 miles
