GM: Ack. As explained in 3 old
updates the abysmal has nothing<br>
to do
with spell chances or anything other than smelling<br>
bad
stuff. Its like sneezing during a spell casting it<br>
has
nothing to do with anything. As to chalice no didn't<br>
bring
the gear as posted awhile back for it. As to using<br>
the
Cryx might be bad using magic to craft a item to dispel<br>
magic.
A sub of a sub item? Its like using glue when needing<br>
a duct
tape. :) Just might be a bad result. If had taken<br>
chalice it'd probably be destroyed by the quake and teleport<br>
and if
not by the shifters when gear removed form bodies.<br>
So no
chalice. :<<br><br>

When his chances
of using Supernatural Languages to boost<br>
a dispel spell are
40%+ then Arawn will attempt to use them<br>
when Dispelling.
Arawn will also keep an eye out for runes<br>
and such,
deciphering for the party when needed.<br>
GM: Ack. So when
40%? Kind of hard to figure out as a player.<br>
So
will assume use SLs all the time. I know one can
argue<br>
if you
read the strength and could wage the odds yes. Then<br>
maybe. But to know difference between 30 and 40 and 50 %<br>
is
hard to figure out. That's the beauty of role playing<br>
not
dice rolling. :)<br><br>

strengths should be role played. Maybe your<br>
character is just
too humble to 'brag' that his power/experience<br>
level so he says
'low'...or maybe just the opposite.<br><br>
It only adds to

agree. For game purposes it should be more<br>
OOC. But for my sanity to save from doing 40 or more updates<br>
to
resolve all this I rather do it in 1-2 updates. So<br>
want
to know what folks have (I already know but its good<br>
to
know openly) and what they will do for what. So for<br>
the GM
rolls then this is why. My plan was to give folks<br>
not
just one person the chance to do magic and gain experience.<br>
So
much times its just 1-2 people and rarely get chance to<br>
improve such magics as banishment. So its just a chance<br>
for
experience. <br><br>

thru my staff.

wards? Kiet, could
you do the law wards? I will attempt to do<br>

draw upon the battery in the staff if you<br>
need the mana. I
will draw upon my other batteries."<br>

"Beyond that and abilities to sense and read magical auras I<br>
may have other
spell that can prove useful if needed, the<br>
Eternal Eye or
Negate Magic spells, for example. And if things<br>
prove extra
challenging we may be able to improve one's chances<br>
through
Purification and Luck spells."<br><br>
"Ah good!" Z'leyra says. "Assuming that green means to

as a nature type
that you are good at it. If so, Arawn can<br>
handle the
Neutral, Balance, Sidh, Kotothi and Law wards. Sorry<br>
Kiet, but we need
the most skilled if possible....Uh, Arawn if<br>
green means that
you just barely know the basics then let us<br>
have you only do
the Sidh and Neutral wards. Kiet do the law<br>
wards, Z'layha
does the Shamanic and Balance, and I do the<br>
Chaos, Elder and

"In any case I have this ring enchanted to give luck to the<br>
wearer. This
should be worn by the caster. They should also<br>
cast through my
staff as it will provide a substantial<br>
improvement in the
odds of the spell succeeding, well worth<br>
the extra mana
cost. I also have a battery or two that can<br>
provide mana,
perhaps for every second casting till we run<br>
low, then for
every casting...till the batteries run out."<br><br>

if you aren't. I doubt that it is worth<br>
doing purification
spells as we are somewhat cut off from<br>
help and the mana
used may be needed for the wards...there<br>
are a LOT of wards

Next
Update....Saturday...<br><br>
GM: A simple
update for now. I will post Z's plan and<br>
alternatives since it'd be a bit more detailed for<br>
plan making for approval. Let me know personally<br>
for those who are casting the spells if you approve<br>
and for which plan and if using any aids and as<br>
mentioned before any recastings.<br><br>
So three casters Arawn, Z'leyra and Kiet (Z'layha is npc<br>
so will agree with plan 3) let me know which plan you<br>
agree or not agree and we'll go from there. As soon<br>
as I hear from all 3 I will do the rolls based on the<br>
data/aides to use I have. Will not make rolls until<br>
all 3 confirm/deny. There may be others who have spell<br>
abilities but are not speaking up so this is what we<br>
go from here. Plan 2 and 3 are not meant to sway things<br>
but just alternatives. Plan 2 is very similar to the one<br>
posted. Plan 3 though gives a bit more round robin for<br>
terms of experience. If you don't want to do all X listed<br>
then let me know. I'm just figuring it out for rolls and<br>
experience. Else if plan 3 is not done then using plan 1<br>
will take all rolls for that said person. Making more
experience<br>
for that one person. <br><br>
