[New Stuff]

[Marqi Frisda
23rd, 1636TH; Sivas, Marentia]
[Time: Earlier -
Sivas City]

Despite the messenger's attempt to convey a sense of
urgency regarding
the summons Arawn remained indolent, settling
into worship as
the man returned from whence he came. Only after
his prayers were
done did the druid rise, releasing a bit of a
sigh as he had
hoped to visit with Raki afterwards but deciding
instead, for now,
to acquiesce to the conveyed imploration.
Smiling as he met
Corsaya's eyes he slipped easily on to her
bare back. A short
whisper into her ear and she took off, fading
out of view in the
near blink of an eye as she sped off to
Z'leyra's
manor...

[Time: A few
minutes before - Sivas City Docks District

Damon
greets the party and bows to Fremea.

Fremea
eyes the captain, remembering he did treat her fairly
well. "Yes,
it has been a interesting year. It might be good
for you to come by
and visit. You never know what my kids would
be interested in
learning. You might just be surprised. I am
sure my parents
would love to hear from you." The last part a
jab at his part in
the story they know nothing about.

Damon
turns to Mae and does his charming playboy routine.

Maelorna smiles warmly as she scrutinizes the captain as he
regards each of
them, then as he turns to her and takes her
hand. She
was glad she chose the gown she wore, it might
prove effective at
least. She gives him a playful look as
takes her hand and
kisses it and finds her heart skipping a
beat.
'Don't, you, dare you stupid girl, he's just a rutting
human, like all
the others you've dealt with as cattle' her
other half warns
her as she finds herself flustered and it shows
with a growing
reddening of her cheeks. "Perhaps if we survive
this endeavor I
might show you where to visit me," she can't
help herself as
she looks at the Captain and finds him very
much to her
liking.

[Time: 10:16 am] -
Sivas City Docks District

Damon
finishes the tale of Dorhak's plight.

Then
she pauses, gauging his words, he sounded rather nervous
or anxious.
"Any species is a viable subject for slavery, many
are even happy to
accept enslavement in exchange for that which
they desire,"
as she smiles, "Just as my kind are slaves to
their base
desires, the Court ensures it," as she shakes her
head... "No
wait, disregard that please. The other isn't
happy right now,
we were interrupted by a summons to help the
dwarf," she
shakes her head.

Kiet
looks thoughtful then continues "Hmmm...do any of you
have some special
way to make this piece of trash speak some
truth or should I,
um, introduce him to one of my less popular
talents?"

Fremea
shifts from foot to foot clearly a bit agitated.

"Well, how about we fetch some cold water then?"
Dorhak
asks the
others.

"Damon? How long will that ship delay in port missing
two
sailors?"

Damon
shrugs, "each captain is different. But typically
if they were off
to get supplies. Could be 3-4 hours. Usually
an hour for
supplies and a visit at a local tavern for some
ale. Crews
do that all the time."

Looking over at Z'leyra, Dorhak says. "I don't know if
there is time to
go back to your places and gear up. How
many of you are
ready to go now, after we finish with this,
this
person?"

"I know several of you use strong magic. Do any of you
have
spells or
something to help even the odds a bit? Something that
affects
many?" Dorhak stops and looks at Kiet and says, "You might
not want to be
tossing around a lot of flames in the harbor.
The locals might
get a wee bit testy about that. Fire and boats
don't mix
well."

Damon
smirks lightly. How does a dwarf know of ship
and
flames?

Dorhak
continues, "After we question him, what can we do
with
him?"

Damon
waves a hand, "give him ale by force and
leave him
be. A sailor drunk in a alley is common."

"Take this," came a voice from behind the group gathered
around the
unconscious man.

Arawn
stood behind them, his waterskin full and offered out
to whomever wished
to accept it. Dressed in ceremonial robes,
the look on his
face was rather blase', almost weary, but his
eyes exposed his
exercise in mental dexterity as he quickly
took in the
scene.

Everyone turn to see Arawn sneak up - so quiet no one even
heard him!
Some smile relieved to see him as well as his return
in such a great
time to help Dorhak. Corona flies over casing
a shadow over the
group as he guided the Alfar from the city
square
nearby. He then lands and perches on a windowsill.

"And regarding gear, truth, and magic to even the odds, I
can."

Behind
the Alfar Corsaya's milky-white hide could be seen, as
hidden from view
as possible for a being of her size. Nearby, a
fluttering of
wings presaged the arrival of a familiar raptor.

"Corona guided me the last bit of the way here," he
explained
as he moved in a
tad closer. "But would someone explain to me
exactly what is
going on before I get involved?"

Dorhak
groans. He hopes the captain doesn't do his acting
speech again with
all his dramatic flair - just no time.

The
dwarf asks his question about what to do with the sailor,
or slaver, or
whatever the human might be, then does a double-
take, and swings
around a look at Kiet. He grins at the small,
slight human and
smiles, then says "Laddie, I think you've been
holding out on
us. What do you mean 'special skill' in getting
this slime to
talk? I'd be very interested in hearing about
this!"

Arawn
lowers his arm holding the waterskin. Fremea smiles
at Arawn and is
grateful to see him. But she frowns. If
they explain this
all over again they'll get away. She
glances to Mae
again wondering why the S word hasn't bothered
her when things
were explained.

At the
mention of the unconscious one, she smiles hungrily
and hears Kiet,
"If you would desire information from him, may
I try first
please? If I do not succeed, then I might be able
to assist you with
the more tender mercies you have in mind for
him?" she
looks at Kiet, "That is, with your permission of
course, you
already know what I am capable of, much like Zin
when I am finished
with him he would be more than willing to
part with every
bit of information he has, but since he is
human he honestly
might be easier to manage," as she looks over
to Fremea,
"But if you choose not to partake of my skills, then
I may prove more
of an asset for her, as the ship is full of
potential pets,
all willing to do anything they're told to, all
in an effort to
please me," as she sighs, "Even if it's to do
nothing more than
die,"

Arawn
looks to the others and then the man on the ground.
If they don't want
water he can at least check his wounds.
He moves toward
the sailor and places the waterskin on the
ground. He
checks for any serious wounds wondering why
Z'leyra hasn't
done the same.

Fremea
sees the unconscious man that Dorhak is standing on
and knows that
Kiet will be the best choice to get anything out
of him. Once she
hears that the ship is full or potentially
full of slaves,
she takes off in flight, "Excuse me, they must
not get
away."

[Time: 10:20 am] -
Sivas City Docks District

Fremea
rockets to the sky and places her removed dress
on her belt
hook. She flies high very fast and gets her
bearings. To
the left or north is the Sea of Cholchara.
The sun is in the
right forward in the east. She spots
the squared they
came to. Then the docks. She spots the
fishermen on the
dock that Damon must've mentioned. She
estimates based on
that info and the description of the
ship from Damon
the ship is right..there! She flies toward
that
direction.

With
the sun to her right she will use the sun to block
any possible view
from the water.

Back
at the alley Damon looks up and down and up and donw.
A bit confused by
the sudden departure of Fremea. His mouth
opens about to
speak but then Mae moves.

Mae
moves with grace toward the downed man and kneels down.
The tight gown
ripples showing all her assets Damon
notices then and
licks his lips a bit - forgetting what he
was about to
say.

Some
distance to the south of the ship in question,
Fremea casts luck
and then invisibility. She disappears
and flies straight
for the ship pulling out her bow.

Gods!,
thinks Kiet. I wish the dwarf wouldn't smile. It's
bad enough we have
to look at him but, really! The smile just
makes it worse.
Seems to be a nice guy...er...dwarf...but it's
not like Kiet has
a lot of experience being around them.

Kiet
looks away trying not to shudder from repulsion, so as
not to insult
Dorhak, and says, "I learned how to extract
information from
unwilling captives back in my native lands."
Kiet almost starts
chuckling but stops himself before. "The
others here aren't
exactly comfortable with that."

Arawn
listens to the others. Interrogation this man? He
can tell he is a
sailor. his rough callused hands and his
sun-tanned dry
skin is a clear sign. Plus the tattoo o
his
shoulder. Arawn tries to piece it together something
about Dorhak and
danger. Could this sailor be involved?
Why won't they
explain what is going on?

Damon
notices Mae rear and wonders a few naughty thoughts.

Fremea
flies and lands on the deck of the ship. She figures
she might have 3-4
minutes to lurk here without being seen.
She notices there
are at least 14-15 on the deck. A bit
much for a ship at
port. Many are just standing around and
waiting it
seems. Many are armed with melee weapon but many
are not which must
be the sailors. The sailors seem to be at
work securing
ropes and basic maintenance.

She
walks near 3 and they are quietly talking in some strange
tongue - all 3
probably guards not sailors. Near the rear
she notices a
group of 6 sailors. They are tending to crates
and dismantling
supplies. These she can understand they are
speaking in a
clipped Marentian tongue. But her time in Ba'ru
reminds me of a
slight Ba'ru accent as native.

"..Vaeth go get the pots and dump overboard."

"I'm not touching that dwarf crap! Its bad enough they mess
up all over the
pots on purpose."

"I did it yesterday its your turn."

Fremea
growls slightly. This confirms there are dwarves
aboard. Then
she notices a man in the middle of the ship on
the port
side. He is not dressed like the others. He
is eating a apple
while reading a book of some sort. He
is in his late
twenties about 200 odd pounds and probably
stands around 6
foot?

Fremea
figures 6 here and about 8 on other side of the
ship. But
here they are all clumped up. She quietly
casts a
spell.

Back
at the alley, Damon recovers. Is it suddenly hot
over here?
He wipes sweat from his brow. "Ahh. Guys.
Fremea just flew
off. You don't think she is like I don't
know off to take
out the ship?"

Everyone turns to Damon and recalls what Fremea said.
Some figured she
meant she needed to get gear or something
for the
sailor. As they realize the quiet is broken. Corona
dives down the
alley and speaks. Those who know Eagle can
understand.
"Fremea flew toward docks. Disappeared."

[Time: 10:21:00
am] - Sivas City Docks District

Fremea
casts the spell and a sleep mist falls around the
group of six
tightly packed sailors. Suddenly they all begin
to drop like
flies.

Fremea
smiles and pulls her quiver ready for some fun.

Update....Wednesday?

GM: A good place
to stop. I've entered Phasal Mode since
Fremea has started combat. Long speeches will be slow
keep this in mind. Dorhak is leader so it is his decision
to let Arawn, Kiet, Mae or no one touch the sailor. Course
there is the Fremea thing now. :) Keep in mind the ship
is about a half mile away in distance.

I will try to do a new update Wednesday if things go
well. Regardless Fremea will be doing fun but it will
be slow only a few phases at a time. For new players
if unsure on time scale...

Phase = 3 seconds
Turn = 12 seconds (4 phases)
Minute = 5 Turns (60 seconds) (20 phases)

If you plan long speeches that may take minutes and
the combat may be over by then. :)

If folks need a map of the ship I can work on that
Tuesday but its getting late and I'm tired tonight
having started later than hoped.
