Does Z'leyra see that Cholan is terrified? If so, she trips him, blindfolds
him with a bandage and tells him "She is gone. Stay there." Hoping that he
will stay put until he is himself again.
If someone wants to dispell the spell, great. She doesn't have the mana to
spare and doesn't want to hold him till the spell wears off. (Besides, she
is never eager to risk abysmal spell failures).
She will then fix the next who really needs healing or attack the priestess.
