Admin notes: As we near the end of this combat. Just a reminder
if you do not want to see certain spells in the Experience chart
posted later on let me know. Most spells are publicly done so
that's fine. But some may want to keep them secret. I will
assume post it all unless stated otherwise.

[Recap]
From Ben'dar: [Re: Actions]
If Ben'Dar is conscious, he continues to fight. If he cannot
sit up or stand, he slashes out with his dagger at the legs of
the woman standing next to him. If he receives some healing,
he will get on his feet and with an angry snarl he'll finish
off the woman with his dagger. Once she's down, he'll go
after the man who just got thrown from his horse. As soon as
no more enemies are nearby, he'll swing up onto Tef'wo again
and charge toward the nearest foe. once there are no more
enemies outside, he'll go to the cabin and kick the door in
and charge inside.
(There, that should be enough actions for about the next 42
phases or so... lol)
GM: Ack. Thanks but I really could use 50 phases of actions :)

[New Stuff]
[Decalis 16th, 107th day since left Marentia, 42nd day of
Adventure #3 of the 1633rd year [TH].]
[Location: Pavassa Forest - Eastern Edge/On Plains]
[Time - 10:09am]
Turn 2: Phase 1
[Mana Allocation] -
[Chion allocates mana for a spell.]
[The female outside by Ben'dar speaks quickly a few
magical words in some language.]
[Missile Fire ] -
[Bowmen #7 can't aim at Ben'dar due to being on ground,
with the female blocking his sight. So he aims at the
only good target he has - Tef'wo. He fires but the
arrow goes flying over the horse and hits the top of
the cabin.]
[Magic Effect ] -
[Chion casts a levitation spell upon himself now
and raises himself from the ground to a few
inches above the cabin floor.]
[With a final laugh after the last word the female
shouts in a hysterical wave of her hands. Ben'dar
can see in her eyes she is clearly willing to take
anyone with her to the grave. This causes her
to use the last desperate act of a dying woman.
Suddenly the air for 25 feet around the woman crackles
as a shower of fire dives from seemingly no where.
Flames rain down all around her and at her. One
stream of fire hits the female squarely and she
bursts into flames as her gown and gear burn. She
screams and falls to the ground smoking.
Tef'wo neighs in pain as fire hits him doing 13
points of immediate damage to his hair and skin.
Bowmen #7 in the south is also hit by the woman's
fire and his bow burns to ashes and he himself
bursts into flames and falls over a smoking heap.
Rider #5 seems to be able to withstand the magical
flames and is surprised to take no damage. But
the rider's frozen horse is taken by the flames and
90% of his body catches on fire. The horse falls
to the ground.
Thig's magical defense protects him from the flames
and he takes no damage.
Xian screams as flames engulf his robes and he suffers
about 5 points of damage.
At the same time Ben'dar is hit by globs of fire from
the fire showers and takes 6 points of damage of
burning flesh. The Chaos Belt doesn't protect in
this case. Now with the pain in his lungs the heat
from the flame virtually begins to evaporate any
moisture in that lung and Ben'dar can almost feel
heat in his lungs as he gasps for air.
Boyzdar is lucky enough to magically resist the
magical flames.]
[Z'leyra becomes solid and her body sags as muscles
take tension and her body levitates.
[Strie'bog grabs the balalaika and invokes the spell
to find his mother...]
[Melee & Movement]-
[Unali twirls her horse ignoring Corona overhead. She
scans the distance and sees no enemy in this area or
the plains to the north and east. She faces south
and sees a fire storm south of the cabin. Bravely
she gallops south and comes around the cabin to se
what is going on with the fire showers. She sees
the horse and Ben'dar on fire. She stops the horse
unsure what to do.]
GM: Went ahead and moved you south due to the fire.
You only had 1 hex of movement left so stopped
you just short.
[Corona takes off to the west to inspect the fight
of the prey birds against the crow.]
[The eagle feels compelled to go to the cabin so it
takes to the air and lands quickly on the cabin
roof. It walks around for a few feet them finds
the hole the crow used. It squeezes through and
enters the cabin...]
[Thig lands on the ground next to Ben'dar.]
Thig: "Calm. I'll cast Insubstantial." [He quickly
stammers out in Marentian.]
[The deer with one final charge breaks the door and
is able to muscle his way into the front door of
the cabin. He walks into the fog...]
[Humagi #5 is no fool. He quickly scrambles to his
feet and grabs his sword on the ground. With
buckler in his other hand he leaves east of the
flames. He sees Unali and charges coming to her
left side he raises his buckler to block any blow
and then swings high his sword. He nicks her left
shoulder doing 3 points past her chainmail.]
[Boyzdar scared of the flames runs east and bursting
through the magical flames he sees #5 attacking
Unali. With no other good options he charges and
leaps at the man. The man doesn't see the attack
but having the buckler in his left hand the wolf
lands on the buckler and so the attack is blocked
by the shield and the wolf is deflected off.]
[The boar charges the closed window of the cabin as
if trying to enter the cabin but its tucks only
nick the cabin wall below it as the boar grunts.]
[Chion sees a burst of light from where he thinks
the door is through the fog. Its bright enough
to illuminate through the fog but briefly as it
seems the noxious fog grays and neutralizes the
light. A form is seen to move briefly but then
disappears in the fog. Chion looks around but
sees no female or the other men here.]
[Z'leyra begins to choke as she inhales for the first
time since entering the cabin. As she does the
fog is noxious and almost tastes like death. She
quickly gasps and holds her breath. Guessing the
last known position of the female she moves toward
it. She swings her staff with one hand as the
noxious fog burns her eyes. She closes her eyes
to prevent possible damage/tearing. The staff with
one hand swing hits empty air and no target through
the thick noxious fog. The fog reminds Z'leyra of
the dragon on the plains the party encountered and
that cloud of death.]
[Farseker turns to #2 on the horse since #9 has a
shield and harder to kill. Since the man is
bending down to hit Farseeker the sword hits the
man in the neck and beheads the man. His head
rolls toward the other horses as blood shoots
luckily to the left of Farseeker and not at him.
The man slumps to the ground under his own horse.]
GM: 12 point hit to head ouch. And that was a simple
hit not a deadly hit!
[Ben'dar turns away from Thig who he feels on his
shoulder but doesn't see. He doesn't understand
the word though knows it means to lose form as
others have use it. He knows then he'll not
feel pain and no need to breath, which is why
Thig wants to probably do it. But Ben'dar tries
to crawl with great pain toward the burning female
ignoring the flames and adrenaline flooding his
system. As he sees the female turn to a crispy
corpse he smiles and blackness takes him and
he collapses to the dirt face down.]
[Trembyl runs east and joins up with Farseeker to
swing his magical scimitar on #9 but fails to hit.]
[The man attacking Arawn is blinded. Being more
experienced than most of the others he knows he
could die here. He backs up the 4 feet toward
the door retracing his path. He turns to face the
outer room but sees only darkness still. He runs
out 4 more feet then turns left. He runs 2 feet
then breaks from the darkness. He suddenly sees
Chion floating there but stops half way toward Chion.]
[Arawn sees the man run. A smart man but foolish.
Never turn a back to a person. Arawn runs after the
man and exits the darkness area. Arawn is surprised
to see Chion floating in the middle of the room
and a gray white noxious fog in the right side of
the room going from floor to ceiling. No sign of
Z'leyra or Strie'bog? Arawn brings up his sword
and stabs the man in the right upper back just under
his shoulder impaling the man for 12 points of damage.
Arawn listens and is surprised to find the man
still conscious.]
GM: You went AWAY in ICQ. So I could not verify this
move with you. Hope its acceptable. Based on
what we chatted live I figured this was best.
Plus your now aware of the situation in the main room.
[Strie'bog gets the results and looks at the dark wall.
So that is where she must be? But he didn't see her...]
[Rider #9 swings down his Scimitar on Trembyl and swipes
the side of his neck missing vital arteries by half
a inch doing 5 points of damage.]
[Now that Z'leyra can hear well with solid eardrums
she notices something moving under her. Suddenly
something lunges at her. Suddenly something hits
her buckler and she turns her head to see a string
like thing deflect off and hiss. Was that a snake?
Where did it go? It disappears into the fog.]
Actions? Comments?
Next update Friday...
GM: Depending on what Strie'bog does now that he has an idea
of where his mother is (in email). I'll do 1 or 2
phases for Friday's update. I'll work on it Thursday
night about 10.
Arawn - Outside darkness, Visible, solid
Ben'dar - If go insubstantial it will give time for you
to be healed. I know you want to go kill others
but it could be hard as you've lost consciousness
now as the hole in your lung is a hinderance. The
female is dead. Once regenerated that hole you'll
be able to go and kill some more folks. Ok? :)
Chion - There is now that one man near you with Arawn
behind him. The man's eyes are still alert. Course
your insubstantial so not likely to hit him. :)
BTW you said gravity doesn't affect (in email ) insubstantial
folks. Correct. But the angle of being 'pushed' by
Z'leyra's levitation moved you down at a down angle and
thus toward the ground. Since you were still moving
via the magic you would eventually end up lower. Either
way to survive being solid when spell fails you would
need levitation :)
Thig - Next phase cast Insubstantial on Ben'dar then
Heal or Regeneration on him. So ben'dar will likely
be able to fight in 3 phases.
Strie'bog - Email send. Will see what you do.
Unali - Guess you'll just kill #5 with the wolf. If
you do do you move onto which location?
Z'leyra - Missed the female, shes somewhere in the fog.
Now another danger. Aside from the need to breath :)
Enemy - only 2 left outside. One by Farseeker/Trembyl
and one by Unali. Inside at least 1 man and 2
female are somewhere.
Darkness covers the first upper left room adn columns
1-4 of outer room. Fog still is in the right side
of the outer room.
Editor Correction - Last update mentioned Eagle killed
Eagle. Meant Eagle killed Crow :) Editoral staff
failed to catch it.
