Ben'Dar spends at least a couple of phases helping Tef'wo and
Unali. He helps Unali off her horse (if she needs/wants to).
GM: Ack.

Chion recasts insubstantiability. He will then move to where
Strei'bog pointed, going through the wall if need be.
GM: Ack.

From Z'leyra: [Re: Actions]
In order to cause confusion to the enemy Z'leyra will cast
Concealing Mist EL2.
Unless there is need to cast more dispels she will then go
behind her enemies (fighters) and cast Astral Web EL0 thru
her staff. Followed by Sleep Mist EL0 (thru staff) that she
will cast on the enemy fighters.
If any is still standing she will kick one (hand-to-hand) from
behind.
She will deal with the enemy spellcaster if she becomes visible.
[Z'leyra toyed with the idea of casting a major illusion to
keep the enemy from seeing the exit...but figured the enemy
spellcaster might be able to see thru such an illusion.]

[New Stuff]
[Decalis 16th, 107th day since left Marentia, 42nd day of
Adventure #3 of the 1633rd year [TH].]
[Location: Pavassa Forest - Eastern Edge/On Plains]
[Time - 10:09am]
Turn 2: Phase 4
[Mana Allocation] -
[Arawn, Chion and Z'leyra build mana for magic.]
[Missile Fire ] -
[The man inside who seems to be the one sitting at
the table previously raises his bow and fires at
Strie'bog. The arrow hits Strie'bog in the right
shoulder doing a painful 9 points of damage.]
[Magic Effect ] -
[Arawn twitches his ears as he extends his Sidh awareness.
He senses magic all around him. From Z'leyra, Strie'bog,
Xian, Chion, Thig just in this room. All seem to be
on the same level but Z'leyra slightly higher in power
and presence. He looks to the door jewel dispelled
seconds ago and senses no magic there anymore. He
senses the noise maker spell on the roof still active.
but seems harmless. He senses magic from the room
Strie'bog and Z'leyra are facing but can't pinpoint
its purpose at this range and without seeing it to
try and interpret the presence. He senses the ward
that reveals Invisible spells - a Revelation spell.]
[Chion recasts insubstantial upon himself.]
[Z'leyra casts a concealing mist but as she finishes
the words nothing seems to happen. No mist.]
[Melee & Movement]-
[Unali sees the battle is over on the south side and
those by the horses are coming this way. With
adrenaline flowing fast she whirls her horse around
and heads north. She rounds the north side of the
cabin and checks to ensure no enemies remain or
no one will escape this route.]
[Corona on the cabin floor remains in place but moves
slightly to the side to let others pass inside.]
[Boyzdar comes to join Strie'bog at the door by his
side waiting for action. But he begins to sniff
the ground around Strie'bog...]
[Suddenly a voice is heard in the corner behind the
make shift work table. "Stry? help." A low voice
of a female is heard behind the work table which is
blocked by a black table cloth that hangs and blocks
view behind it. The voice is in Vassa.]
[Z'leyra drops her staff to the ground just outside the
door. She shifts her buckler to a hand grip position
and draws her bastard sword with her right hand. Seeing
her spell fail she stays put after stepping 2 feet to
the right giving her a better view of the room. The
words she heard were in Vassa so she figures them to
be just orders?]
[Farseeker enters the cabin at a trot and ends up to the
right of Z'leyra looking into the room.]
[Ben'dar goes over to check Tef'wo. He glances over to see
Unali now gone. Ben'dar in pain himself sees burn blisters
over a good deal of Tef'wo. He begins the tedious process
of removing the armor on the horse. Poor Tef'wo in some
places it may have melted in good. Tef'wo will need some
healing for sure. he talks to the horse and calms it down
as the horse seems in slight shock. Tef'wo knows the horse
will soon have no adrenaline and then he'll be in pain. He
pulls off the saddle bags and looks for some burn ointment.]
[Trembyl enters the cabin but ends up just inside
the front area of the cabin.]
[The man who fired on Strie'bog shoulders his bow and
goes to draw his scimitar figuring his one chance for
missile weapons are gone now.]
[Emotion hits Strie'bog. Now in pain he breaks the
arrow off with one free hand releasing the Balalaika.
Hearing his mom emotion takes over. So his mom was
here in this room all along. The Balalaika magic
confirms that. If only they had looked behind the
table the first time. With a roar of pain and anguish
he storms into the room. Swinging his axe side to
side he runs between #1 and #2, past #3 and the bowmen
and rounds the right side of the table....and sees
his mother on the floor. Hope floods his mind as
emotion takes over rather than logic and caution.
He leans down and picks up his mother helping her
to her feet. She seems weak so he uses both hands
with a loose grip on the axe. He knows his back is
to the men but he has to ensure his mom is ok first...
as he helps her up he glances over his shoulder to
ensure no one is coming his way.]
[Xian enters the cabin and becomes visible suddenly
as he gets tot he middle of the main room.]
[Humagi #1 and #2 in the room stand their ground
waiting for the enemy to attack them rather than
coming into a large room and be outnumbered.]
[Thig becomes visible as well as he walks north to
the door where the room is.]

Turn 3: Phase 1
[Mana Allocation] -
[Z'leyra allocates more mana for a spell.]
[Missile Fire ] - None
[Magic Effect ] -
[Z'leyra speaks the magical words as she changes
her plans since the Mist failed. She hopes the
Astral Web spell will hold the enemy long enough.
She won't know for a second or two.]
[Chion enters past the wall into the room and floats
above the ground looking at the fighters.]
[Melee & Movement]-
[Boyzdar sees Strie'bog and his mother. The wolf
senses danger but charges into the room toward
the two. he twirls around at the right edge of
the work table ready to defend the two.]
[Strie'bog's mother shakes as if exhausted she
leans against Strie'bog's arm. Then a hand
slips to her side and pulls out a dagger. With
one arm she puts a arm under Strie'bog's axe
arm and up against his head. With the other hand
she pulls the left hand under Strie'bog's neck
with the dagger and puts the point to his neck.
"Halt! Or he dies!" in Vassa.]
[With a blur Z'leyra enters the room but doesn't
understand what Strie'bog's mother says. Z'leyra
runs behind the back of guard #1 but then realizes
what is going on. She glances over her left
shoulder and sees a dagger to Strie'bog.]
[Farseeker enters the room and swings his sword on
#2 but fails to hit the fighter.]
[Ben'dar realizes he has no burn ointment and so
stands to give water to the horse by his canteen.
He hopes Z'leyra will come fast.]
[Trembyl heads toward the room of the door but sees
the situation and does not enter.]
[The bowmen decides to retreat and heads to the front
of the table holding his scimitar at the ready.]
[Arawn heads toward the door he can understand the
words spoken and becomes concerned. He stops
at the doorway when he sees Strie'bog and mother.]
[Humagi #3 tries to move but finds he can't.]
[Surprised Strie'bog doesn't move. Scenarios run
through his mom. Could this be his mom and if
if it is maybe she is under a spell? He sees
his friends enter and feels the cold point of the
sharp dagger at the base of his throat...]
[Xian moves to the door and stops alongside Arawn.]
[The other two fighters try to move but find they
can not.]
------------------------------
[The bowmen speaks in Vassa hoping someone will
translate.]
Bowman: "Let me and her leave and he'll live.
One word from her and Mommy dies!"
[With that Strie'bog feels his "mother"'s skin
begin to move and suddenly to his surprise and
those in the room the smaller female transforms
and shape changes into the taller redhead. She
smiles but still holds the dagger to Strie'bog's
neck.]
[Thoughts run through Strie'bog and Arawn who are
the only one to understand the words. So his
mother IS here in this room. The magic would not
lie. But where is she. Strie'bog glances and
sees no one else behind the table with his side
vision. If she is here why isn't she seen. If
there is magic to reveal all those invisible like
Chion, Z'leyra, Xian and others then shouldn't
his mother be seen? A word and mother dies. That
must mean she has to be in this room for magic
to be effective. A ward? A trap? Its clear
to Arawn and Strie'bog the redhead wants out
of the cabin safe and sound. If they can't use
mother as a hostage they'll use Strie'bog...]
Actions? Comments?
Next update Friday...
GM: Now the fun begins.
Arawn: You do know Vassa so know the words. Your
visible and at the door. I had no actions
so wasn't sure what you were going to do.
Ben'dar - Your unaware of the events inside.
Chion - Your in the room. Insubstantial but visible.
Floating a few inches off the ground.
Thig - Visible and standing behind Xian and Arawn.
Since he's shorter he can't see into the room now.
Strie'bog - What you saw was 'mother'. It was her
and her voice. But emotion got the better of
wisdom (rolls). The dagger is real though but
the shape shifting female is not your mother.
Farseeker - Inside room but being in fighter mode he
doesn't realize the situation yet.
Trembyl - Still in main room.
Xian - Visible and at door to room.
Z'leyra - Visible, behind the back of #1. But now
the bowman has moved with his back to the table
and 4 feet behind you. But with scimitar not bow
in hand. You are facing the SE corner of the room.
GM: The spores effect ceased at the start of turn 2
phase 4. So there is no spore cloud in the room.
