From Ben'dar: [Re: Actions]
Ben'Dar will attack goblin (i) unless somebody else kills it
first. After that, he will look around for any other enemies,
ignoring the frogs and toads. If he can't see any more enemies,
he'll go to his bag and grab a torch. He'll light it in the
campfire and use it to search around the perimeter of camp.
GM: Ack.

What the heck? Where was the insubstantiability on Trembyl
and Chion at? Sheesh...
GM: Ack. Based on actions posted. I had saw it as 1) Heal
Trembyl 2) Check his status and 3) Go insubstantial. That
would've taken about 3 phases. Since you healed him the
second phase was the attack of the frogs. In order not to
be damaged from a head or neck blow by them you had to
use the staff to dodge and whack them away. So was going
to do the insubstantial the 3rd phase. Sorry if it wasn't
fast enough. The target of the arrows was purely random
like tonight D5.

Seeing the toads and frogs Z'leyra will cast Sleep Mist EL0
through her staff to put the small stuff asleep. As she goes
to fetch her Healer's satchel (and check that the contents are
not gone) she calls to Corona to scout and see if a spell
caster is nearby summoning these critters.
She then goes to patch and heal folks.
GM: Ack.

[Decalis 15th, 106th day since left Marentia, 41st day of
Adventure #3 of the 1633rd year [TH].]
[Location: Pavassa Forest]
[Time: Around 3:58am.]
GM: With few actions I have I will finish the update as
best I can.
Turn 2: Phase 3
[Mana Allocation]
[Z'leyra allocates mana for a sleep spell.]
[Missile Fire]
[Thig aims at the last goblin but can't fire without
possible hitting others so he holds off.]
[An arrow goes flying toward Farseeker The arrow hits
him in the right shoulder and penetrates doing 7 points
past his armor. Farseeker almost staggers back into
the campfire but maintains his balance.]
[Magic Effect]
[Z'leyra quickly casts the sleep mist spell through her
staff but the frogs around her continue to move and
she sees no mist.]
[Suddenly Ben'dar is the first to see it a half second
before it happens. The campfire seems to fog up and
a gray thick mist forms around the campfire and spreads
out in seconds to cover the entire camp. In one second
50 feet around the campfire is covered in this fine
gray mist. It enters the open tents and seeps
through holes in the ground into tents....
Arawn inside the tent with Trembyl sees the mist but
doesn't act differently.
As the mist surrounds Ben'dar his muscles tighten
and he falls to the ground.
Chion is surrounded by the Gray Mist as well but
has no reaction.
Farseeker collapses onto the dead Lion's back making
the weight on Unali even harder.
Thig high in the air, invisible, 30 feet up begins
to cough from the mist as well but continues to
hover in the air.
Strie'bog is already on the ground but also affected.
Trembyl inside the tent still in pain is lucky
and is not affected by the mist.
Unali under the Lion suddenly sees the mist as well
but is not affected.
Xian and Z'leyra are also unaffected by the mist.
Boyzdar is surrounded by the mist and falls to the
ground on all fours.]
[Melee & Movement]
[Corona flies up away from the Mist to avoid it.]
[Z'leyra being next to her tent opens the flap through
the mist and climbs inside to find her satchel. She
checks to ensure all items are still there. While
she does this she calls out to Corona to check the area.]
[Thig climbs up as well out of the mist to get a better
view of the area.]
[Farseeker tries to move off the Lion but finds he
is paralyzed completely.]
[Ten frogs begin to hit the Tent with Arawn and
Trembyl shaking the cloth back and forth as they
randomly hit the tent. At least 6 come close to
Arawn but do not hit.
[Three frogs come close to Ben'dar but not close
enough to hit him.]
[Three frogs jump close to Chion but do not
come close to hitting Chion.]
[Three frogs jump around or over Farseeker on the
Lion. One hits Farseeker right in the side of
the head and does a heavy strike doing an additional
one point of damage to his head.]
[Two frogs jump over Strie'bog. One lands right
on his face and the weight of the toad lands
onto his left eye doing damage to the eye enough
for a 4 point strike.]
[One frog hitting Trembyl's tent hits him in the
leg but does no damage.]
[Only one frog is near Unali and jumps away.]
[No frogs hit Z'leyra's tent.]
[One frog hits Xian in the left shoulder but his
leather protects the squishy attack.]
[Unali tries to figure out if she can lift the lion
and it must be Farseeker? leaning against the lion.
The combined weight must be 460 pounds for the
lion and about 240 for Farseeker and his gear.
That's 700 pounds on top of her crushing her. She
knows if she inhales she'll lose her breath so she
tries to consider her move. The lion is on her
pelvis and legs with its head on her chest. So
at least its not the full weight. She can easily
move the head but the entire lion? She may not be
that strong. Her magical scabbard is giving her
a strength bonus so maybe that'll help. She tries
to push up against the lion's shoulders but it
does not budge.]
[Ben'dar tries to move but finds he can't. Ben'dar
fell forward and face forward into the sand.]
[Trembyl sees the Mist and wonders if its fog
coming in at this hour? He places a hand on
his new wound to stop the bleeding.]
[Chion grabs up his staff and looks around for
what could be the cause of the mist but sees
nothing in the darkness and mist.]
[Arawn checks Trembyl and in the darkness its hard
to tell what and where the wounds are. He ducks
down a bit to avoid the frogs and toads.]
GM: Unsure of actions would be taken.
[Suddenly Ben'dar feels a blade enter his back but
doesn't penetrate far. It seems to slice the
armor and does only 2 points of damage. Ben'dar
may think it to be the goblin?]
GM: Without armor see it'd be 9 points :)
[Xian does not see the figure behind and to the
right of him. But he sees the lion and Farseeker
on Unali. He goes to Farseeker and checks him
finding a pulse. He helps pull off Farseeker from
the lion onto the ground face up.]
Actions? Comments?
Next update Monday....
GM: I will only do one phase due to this new surprise.
Since I didn't get much actions tonight as is. I
will give you a chance to react. Monday will do
2 more phases.
GM: Here is how good a player you guys are. As a player
you know the affects of the mist seem to be a paralyzing
effect. As a CHARACTER however your unsure of its effect.
GM: Status -
Strie'bog - Unconscious on ground, face up, head
pointing NE with feet in SW.
Ben'dar - Awake but paralyzed, Face down in ground,
Lying head toward the north feet to the south.
Farseeker - Awake but paralyzed, Same as Ben'dar lying
north to south aside the campfire.
Trembyl - In camp but still wounded.
Unali - Lying like Ben'dar north to south. Lion
still on top weighing around 462 pounds. With
Farseeker off should be able to lift off and out
next phase easily. Face up.
Z'leyra - Inside tent.
Wolf - Wounded but paralyzed.
Frogs - Still active it seems the Mist hasn't
affected them yet?
GM: Gray Mist is as thick as fog with about 1 foot
visibility 3 hexes within sight of the campfire.
Outside its within inches. But the mist itself
centers on the campfire and 5 hexes around it in
every direction.
GM: 6 of the horses are also affected by the mist.
GM: So half the party is down or out of action -
Ben'dar, Farseeker, Strie'bog, Trembyl and Unali
(for maybe only a phase). Means the heavy warriors
are down leaving only Arawn, Chion, Thig, Xian
and Z'leyra left for action. This should be fun!

at 80%, 5 hexes 60%, 6 30%, 7 10%, 8 no light. Light will affect
