I surely hope not.  But like you, I don't want to loose the ship.  Horses I don't mind.

Depending on what they do, they can easily sink the ship.  Just submerge and come up under it.  We have no defense for that, that I am aware of.

Then again, we have an experienced captain as well.

I'm wondering if we should be discussing retreat options.  I'm confident the party can prevail, but at what cost?  I'd hate to lose the ship, the crew, the animals, etc.
