Scott, 

What you did with Kiet was just fine.  If he had the time he'd try a quick SF on the flyer, but it's probably out of range anyway.  Kiet was too distracted by the Vong in front of him to notice the flyer.

If the excrement strikes the rotating air displacement device, Kiet will cast his flight spell to get out of there and grab Kell to go with.
