GM: Ack. I can't work with options like I can do this or that
and maybe this. Unless Fremea states otherwise I'll use
the plans given below or a decision is made to join which
task. Just hard to go with If-thens decisions when its unclear.

[New Stuff]
[Sepes 29th, 1634TH]
[Location: City of Samma, Donara]
[Time: Earlier in the morning...]
Arawn visits with the Fae before entering the Inn for the
plans for tomorrow to be assigned.
"Then I shall see to your injuries," Arawn replied. "And
afterwards it will be my honor to perform a blessing upon the
deceased and upon your company."
Respecting the faerries wishes Arawn refrained from magic,
instead relying upon his own mundane skill as a Healer. Though
gifted as a healer of Alfar and elf the faerry form was
different, though in its own way more familiar than those of the
humans he had only begun to study.
As expected most wounds were light with bruises, tears, cuts and
sore limbs from the treatment of the captors. Easy for even a
basic healer to fix no matter what species. In the end it is more
morale support than actual healing. To ensure they are all safe
and free.
When he was done he allowed himself a brief stretch, afterwards
extending the fae's appreciation to Kiet. Once done he very
quickly cleansed himself as needed before rejoining the faerries,
alongside any party members interested and that the fae felt
comfortable with. He knew that time was short so he planned to
keep preparation of the deceased faerry simple. Asking Raban for
his assistance he moved to a private location beneath the stars
before washing the body, chanting a prayer as he worked with the
bard to wrap the cleansed body in clean linen. He sang in the
eldest tongue, Sidh, pronouncing the deceased name and act of
self-sacrifice, asking the gods to swiftly and tenderly carry
him to the Blessed Lands where he would no longer know pain and
would sit in a place of honor.
Raban does help out giving advice and his own blessings to
the Fae. Being a strong friend to the Sidh he believes it is
the right thing to do. Raban whispers to Arawn privately, "it
is best to bless at the site of burial. but I suspect they do
not wish to bury him here in this human land."
Afterwards he gave the fae some space, allowing them both
time alone with their dead companion and to sort themselves. As
their time of departure approached he rejoined them.
"If Fremea hasn't already asked, might any of you be aware of
the plant, Moon Gort?," he asked, describing the plant and its
powerful glow if needed. "If so, would you know where we might
be able to find it, as it could prove useful on our quest?"
One of the female Fae who hasn't spoken much nods. "I've heard
of it. My mother said she saw one once when she was little. They
are very rare. One might only get see it once in a lifetime. Since
it blooms only a dozen times a year at the full moon it makes finding
it much more difficult. I had a long distant uncle who said when
they found it they would submerge it in milk to preserve it. I don't
know if this is true though or what type of milk it was. As to
finding it the forest is a place it is rarely found. The open
plains are best since they can be seen from afar."
Afterwards he pulled something from his pack, a meager
something wrapped in cloth.
"It's not much but it's what little I have left of my elf-
cakes," he said, offering them to Qor.
"Beyond that there is little more I can offer you besides my
well wishes and a prayer of blessing."
Qor shakes his head. "Our freedom is plenty. We can survive
off the land like any normal fae. We will be fine. the nearest
village is about 2 days flying from here. This is so the humans
do not interfere with us." He looks to the side and considers his
words a bit. Then glances at Arawn but decides not to say it.
Arawn can't read minds but he can tell the Fae do not care for
the humans and with just cause. But Arawn can surmise that they
are amazed he is travelling with humans. Especially of his status.
Arawn waited for the interested to assemble themselves before
stepping forward with a bowl of clean water and a fresh cutting,
taken with proper respect from an appropriate tree. He dipped the
branch in the bowl, anointing each faerry with the blessed water
as he spoke a Sidh prayer over them. He invoked the gods to impart
a blessing upon both individual and the group as a whole, asking
for protection; safe and swift travel; the healing of mind, body,
and spirit; joy and happiness; and future prosperity for them and
their families.
When he was done he looked upon them with a tender eye.
"I wish I could accompany you to at least the forest edge but
after ponderance I think I would only slow you down and draw
attention to you. As such I will, with some regret, remain
behind though I would watch from afar as long as I can. However,
it would please me to someday know that you arrived home safely.
If there is a village or contact that I might visit in the
future so as to look in upon you I would gladly hear of it."
Corona explains he will watch them for some distance before
coming back at suprise to the tavern.
Qor considers this for some time. "Most villages are sacred
spots and private. It would not be my place to state their
location. There is a village run mostly by humans and elves. It
is about 1,000 people. At certain times of year it can grow twice
as big. The humans call it Riverdell. Though there is no river.
The Elves call it Ba'lor Medat." Arawn needs no translating to
know that means tall tree. "Mainly because the homes are built
into the large trees as shelter. It is the largest village this
side of the forest. I do knot have friends there. But I know
some who frequent there." He considers the words. "I could
encourage word to be sent there. I hear there is a old human
lady who sells information of this nature. They say she knows
everything. But I think she just buys information to sell back."
Raban perks up, "Bards do this but we do not buy it. We share
information openly and freely."
-----------
[Time: 3:28:10 am - Samma city, Donara]
Arawn and Fremea question Etain on her past.
"Do you know if the Apprentice is still alive?," Arawn
asked. "Or where the book he buried is said to lie?"
Etain shakes his head. "It has been a long time since I was in
Avalon. I do know either answer. I do suspect that the book
is very powerful. Either basic information or some powerful
magic. There can only be three reasons. To hide it for himself
for his own agenda. To hide it from Fremea or Varange so they
don't use it for their own goals or against the Fae."
"Do you have any insight into the connection that exists
between the Marked Fae? If so it might help Fremea with turning
it against Varange or at least blocking or misleading him should
we fail to find the Moon-Gort."
"I do not believe he will find the Gort. he fears nothing or
no one. He is arrogant to know it will not matter. He may
believe she will try." He glances to Fremea and then back. "As
to the connection. I believe it is emotional tie. Most marked
ones are one or two Fae. They tend not to be related but has
happened in the past. In this case i believe when Fremea is
emotional he can sense her and pick up things. He knows that
she is distressed with her parents and will use this against her."
He turns to Fremea. "Remember the lessons I taught you. To control
your emotions. A skilled fighter or assassin is one that is
not controlled by their emotions. It can do more damage than
good."
Soon after the plans are made Arawn considers his options.
"I can accompany either yourself or Will to pursue the Moon
Gort, " Arawn said after hearing both Fremea and Raban's
proposals. "However, if you wish me to attempt to track the
mage first I will do so and save my hunt for the plant until
afterwards."
----------
[Time: 6:32:51 am - Samma city, Donara]
The party gets at least 2-3 hours of sleep depending who
takes time for watches. Nothing else eventful occurs. By
now the Fae have left and are in the Wild Forest. Corona is
back and sunning on the roof.
The sun is up and the city is waking up for the day's
routine activities.
The party took 2 rooms and slept where and when they
could. Inside one room Fremea checks her wound from
the ape attack. She sees it has not healed naturally.
She does some basic first aid cleaning and then casts
a healing spell on the damage. The spell does it magic and
the green energy clears most of the bruises and damage. But
what remains is a nice blood bruise on her shoulder about
the size of a copper coin. But she has gone from heavy to
only light damage. She feels a bit better physically and
her magic has regenerated a bit. But since she cast magic
the previous day not as much as would want.
Inside her room Z'leyra checks her own light wounds but sees
it is gone completely healed naturally just since the few hours
prior.
Outside Arawn watches the sun rise slowly looking west to the
wild forest hoping for the safe return of the Fae. While not
wounded he feels better now. He is not as tapped out by the
magic of the last day. But it will take a few more days to get
back to full.
Raban is still sleeping on the floor stretched out with
a blanket covering most of his long body. He just can't
sleep in a bed these days as it would break them. Plus
his feet would hang off the side. As the sunlight makes
the room brighter from the window is rouses up a bit weak
and moaning. His bones ache and he still feels a bit tired.
Z'leyra enters the room. Knowing that his throat would be
hoarse and shredded as well as lung damage she made a soup
and mixture downstairs. The broth is to help mix the taste
of the herbs. But physically he is fine just from the magic
wounds of his lungs he needs help. There is little to
do healing treatment wise with bandages but digest down the
broth of herbs.
Z'leyra is upset that her magical armor took some serous
damage. It will take time to get it fixed back home.
After a few minutes of drinking the broth, Raban clears
his throat and speaks with some effects still from the wounds.
Z'leyra then grabs her shamanic drum and begins to enter a
trance to do his healing. With one hand to his throat and
one to his chest she casts the healing spell. The green
energy quickly enters his large chest and fade. She can't
tell the results of his healing but he reacts that it was
definitely helpful. She leaves the broth for him to finish
before he goes down to eat a full meal.
Raban feels better as he drinks the broth from heavy damage
to moderate. For most people he healed enough for 3 normal
people. Yet he is still wounded by the magic and may take
a few more healings to get back to full.
Arawn comes later to do a Energy spell upon Raban to help
regain some life force. The one time spell helps but it
will take few more days to get him back to full. Raban gives
thanks to both for help. Both healers know he took enough
to kill 5 normal men, yet he is still standing.
Kiet wakes up with a smile on his face with the loot to
his side just in case some rat tries to steal it. He knows
he is in good shape and feels like his magical energy has
come back a bit better.
Will wakes up famished and ready to eat a large meal. He
checks his own light wounds and finds he has healed fully
naturally. He decides maybe this day he'll do more things
than just being captured.
Overall the party is good shape. Three party members
are still a bit tapped out magical wise. Two others are
in good shape while the other 2 are in full ability.
For the most party all are in good health with the only
exception being Raban with a bit drained still in life
force. Physically only 2 are still with wounds Fremea with
a light wound and Raban with his still moderate internal
damage. Everyone else is in good shape.
------------
[Time: 6:43:19 am - Samma city, Donara]
Everyone is now at a table downstairs eating. The old
deaf bar tender seems to be helped by a middle aged woman
who must be his daughter. The place is packed with city
residents, traders, merchants and workers. Most of the
workers seem to be in this area textile or guild workers
based on their dress and hands. Most stare at Raban
and his large bulk. Fremea sits in her dress disguise
again and scratches at the material.
The food is very good with eggs, ham, bacon, biscuits,
sausages of many types, vegetables, fruit and a special item
the daughter says is a bird from the Wild Forest. The
Sidh and the allies of Sidh ignore this offering out of
respect. Kell considers it but when he sees the others
glare he only takes the ham. The drinks are good with
fresh milk, orange, apple, ale and water. The daughter
says they usually have a morning grape juice but the
merchant is sick.
The party speaks of the day's chores and groups and
have to yell a bit over the din of noise in the room.
Etain sits in his chair a bit still affected by the ale
he drunk last night. His eyes are blurry and head aches.
He looks to Arawn and thinks he might could heal his last
wounds but then looks to the human female healer. It would
be like asking a peasant for a god to heal him for Arawn to
do so. It is below his station. Maybe he'll ask if the
female healer knows Elf healing.
