Out of the hearing range of our two guests, Kiet says "I will need the help of at least one of you with these two...and two would be better.  I can't manhandle them by myself AND keep the pace of the torture as required to make them talk.  If you give them too much time in between treatments, the recover too much of their courage.  Also, if one gets lose, I would be forced to kill him."
