[pnpgm] Shields

In this game, as well as historically, shields are absolutely necessary. 

Historically, especially in dark ages and early Middle Ages, troops didn't have armor.  It's expensive to make and to maintain.  Shields can be made with wood, skins and one old piece of metal (the boss...a hand-hold). Some just needed tacks, no boss.

Anyway, as deadly as this game can be, a shieldless player is living a charmed life if they can stay alive.
