Z'leyra will come back in and show anyone interested how to
do first aid, lecturing as she patches up the injured guard.
Will asks the Elf, "Why, do you want to help us look for him? Want us
to help you look?"
He casts thru the wand a max EL purification then a max EL
enhancement on each eye then on the belt that he will tan
along with the pouches. If the belt doesn't get properly
enhanced the first time he will cut off enough more hide to
make another belt and try again.
Will returns to the tavern and gives the tavern keeper his
shovel back. He starts the tanning process.
GM: Ack. Wow. Is that John or you Alex doing the above?
I mean to do that to a pet. Interesting. As to tanning
it will take days.

Blinding Spray:
OOC: Water seemed to do the trick but just in case, as
someone experience with the Healer skill, if Arawn senses that
the powder is a poison with lingering effect and that water isn't
enough he'll use Negate Poison to deal with it.
Tavern/Inn:
Arawn decided to save prayers for the dead and treatment for
the seemingly stable but unconscious kitchen worker for later,
realizing that others might still lie on the brink of death.
"Can you keep an eye on things here while I see to the...
OOC: After making sure to exclude anyone already subjected
to magical healing (warning them of the danger posed from exces
s magical healing should any ask why he's excluding them) he
will then cast Healing Mist (cast as group version, using the
minimum EL necessary to cover everyone in need of healing, and
spoken in the Sidh Tongue) to restore everyone to full health.
If anyone remains unconscious after he'll examine them, using
Mana Sense if mundane skills are unable to determine the cause,
and cast Revivification or Negate Poison at EL 0 to wake them if
this appears a reasonable and safe application as needed.

OOC: Once the wounded are tended to, if no one else has
safely examined the shaman's corpse by then, he'll use Mana
Sense to help determine if any lingering dangerous magic remains
on him before working to carefully search him (he'll make sure
to wear thick gloves in case the shaman has some poisonous
surprise waiting in the folds of his clothes).

"We need to find Fremea. I should be able to find her ...
(OOC; Not sure what that might be but as the party has
traveled together and likely shared items or food hopefully
we'll have something suitable on hand, likely in Raban's hands
if no one else. And if she has eaten or drunk at the table her
saliva will be sufficient for the spell.
If a suitable item is found Arawn will cast Tracking
(triple cost) to determine distance and direction.
Wolf:
When Arawn is made aware of the dead wolf his heart cracks
and he rushes to the creature's side. Z'leyra's healing abilities
were formidable but one can't heal the dead. However, there were
other options suited for the hands of a priest.
Glancing at the shovel in Will's hands he adds,
(OOC: Arawn has 4 days to attempt a Resurrection. When he can
find an appropriate time to cast it Arawn will prepare by
casting - - Purification at max EL Sound Powers (Sonata -
Mystic) at max EL, cast in the Sidh Tongue - Luck at max EL,
cast in the Sidh Tongue - use the Wand to cast the Resurrection
spell
He'll wait until after the party reunites with Fremea and
they're ready to bed down for the night. If there's a delay
in finding Fremea he'll instead cast it the first time the group
is ready to bed down for the night.
Until then, if carrying the wolf is a problem, Arawn will cast
Transmutation at EL 4 (using the Sidh Tongue) to turn him into
a small metal wolf statue that can be stuffed in a backpack.
GM: Ack. Powder is mild once water was used it was almost
fully removed. No lingering effects. Sorry on the Wolf
stuff but based on Will's action (Alex) it was done asap
so no delay. With the prayers and such you just simply
missed him leaving. Because Will is away and will take
a bit of time your comments on the wolf may be needed
to be redone when he returns But they were good comments.

[Time: 7:28:37 pm - Donara City]
Kiet smiles at his little 'jest'. Serves the thoughtless
fools right.
"Don't worry about them. What I did to them won't harm them
unless they are stupid, which they undoubtedly are! It's far
more likely to merely be unpleasant than harmful."
The guard glances at Kiet. Then he realies this small man
must be a wizard of some sort. While magic is not open as
it is in Marentia it not burn mages for magic either. Most
citizens simply don't understand much less need magic. So
they have their own bias and opinion. But this guard has
seen some magic as he has worked the river patrol for a
few years. The guard shrugs and nods. Then turns back to
the idiot patrons.
"No. This was very real people. When someone tells
you do move you move. Understand?" The guard glares
at the three who are trying to sit in their charirs
without falling or throw up their dinners.
"You mean ...real?" The middle man looks back and
becomes pale. He tries to stand but is moved back into
the chair by the spell of disorientation.
"Just sit there for now." The guard shakes his head
and turns to the greater scene behind him.
Kiet looks at the guard and says, "I'm no healer, but would
you like me to help bandage you up?" Kiet will use any of his
healing kit necessary for the guard.
The guard looks down at his arm and shrugs. "I've had
worse from falling out of a boat. Thanks. I need to
attend to the others first. THen I can get this treated."
He moves toward the bar in the far east.
Z'leyra heads back after placing a hand on Will's shoulder.
She has felt the pain before. Losing Fisherking to the
Gargoyles on Clima. She heads back inside feeling sadder.
Waits stares at the dead wolf and hears Z'leyra go back inside.
Will asks the Elf, "Why, do you want to help us look for him?
Want us to help you look?"
But there is no reply. Will clenches his fist. Anger and
sadness overwhelm him Still no reply. But all cares seem
to fade except for his dear friend.
Putting the wolf over his shoulders he asks the tavern keeper
for a shovel and directions to the nearest bit of forest. He
stays to watch Z'leyra's lecture and demonstration about first
aid. He then proceeds off to the forest for the wolf's burial.
The nearest waitress glares at Will. The barkeep is tending
to nervous customers and doesn't hear Will. She then sees
the wolf on his shoulders and realizes he is dead. She will
wave the rule of no animals this time. She tells Will there
is a shovel around back by the latrine. She then explains
the nearest forest patch is about 3 miles west of here. Then
she shows a grim face and says she sorry but Will ignores her.
Will watches a few moments Z'leyra check the dead body of
the female killed. Hearing a bit of her instrucitons he
decides to leave. Will heads out the door to yell.
The city guard yells, "no one is to leave. We need to
question everyone. Take statements." He moves toward
hte door to try to stop Will but Kiet grabs his arm. Kiet
shakes his head with a stern look.
Kell approaches and realizes the wolf is dead. He
watches through the window Squirt following Will. He
turns to the guard. "His friend...not a simple pet
just died. He will return."
"But that is not a..." The city guard sighs and nods.
"He better return or it will be bad. " He moves toward
the bar.
Inside the kitchen Arawn warns Unali where he is. Then
kneels to check the bodies. The one knocked out has a
simple head tap. He'll recover Arawn quickly does
a prayer for the dead.
"Can you keep an eye on things here while I see to the
wounded?," he asked Unali, his phantom voice drifting through
the kitchen air. "And leave the shaman for now. Who knows what
poisonous tricks he's carrying."
Stepping into the main chamber the invisible alfar cast his
gaze about, assessing the situation. Allowing the invisibility
to drop he called out,
"Bring the injured and the unconscious together that I might
invoke healing magic upon them."
Arawn weaves behind the bar among the 15 or so people back
there. Behind the bar is not seen this many people ever.
So it is crowded.
But by now Z'leyra has already tended to those who need help.
The one dead girl is beyond help. But the one man who was
hit by the spiker's mace has a small wound. Aside from the
guard and Raban no one else is wounded. Some bruises when
folks ran for cover or under tables. But nothing serious.
The bar keep exits the kitchen pale and tells the guard
what happened inside.
"So three dead..no in the kitchen and one here. One
other wounded aside the giant. Not including myself. That
animal outside...i mean the wolf dead. Plus 4 dead bad
guys and those beasts over there." He points to the apes.
"I need someone to search upstairs." He yells for the boy
who was attacked by the bugs from the box. "I need you
to get to the garrison. Bring as many men as you can so we
can take statements and patrol. If possible bring at least
one or two scribes." The guard tells the boy then turns
to the large crowd. "Again no one else leaves, until I
have reinoforcements here."
Kell looks to the guard. "I will go check upstairs." He
waves to Kiet and Unali at the kitchen door. "Come help."
He then heads to the stairs in a bit of a rush.
The one hit by the spiker looks to Z'leyra a bit wary. He
refuses healing aside from basic first air. He says his uncle
is a healer and no offense but trusts him. As he smiles hoping
Z'leyra will not hurt him in the first aid.
The guard also accepts first aid but refuses healing. "We
have rules Such things have to go by our garrison. There
was a bad...precedent in the past. But thank you."
Raban is checked but he Bard did the healing and so Z'leyra
does a bit of the first aid with the bard.
The Bard smiles, "we have to stick together. I never met
Raban Underwood but I know of him. With that body who can
mistake him. Some still tell stories of him."
"Hopefully the ladies not the drunks I sing to." Raban
smiles.
Kiet was a bit reluctant to help Kell but figures his
friend will need help. Once upstairs Kell rushes down the
hall to find a window. "We need to stop that boy. We
don't need troops here asking questions." He opens the
window and looks around. "You two search the place and
look around. I'll be back." With that the Half-Elf jumps
off the ledge into the darkness.
Before Kiet can say anything the elf fades fades into
the darkness. He looks to Unali and waves her on to get
this going.
Downstairs Arawn enters the kitchen again. The bar keep
and one waitress are staring at the impaled girl. The
waitress is crying a bit. The bar keep consoles the woman.
"The guard said not to move her until things are looked
into. She'll be fine."
Arawn comes over to help console the two and gives a
set of new prayers. Then the two leave again with eh
now waking man who was knocked out. The groggy man
is taken to a table outside by the two. Arawn finds
he will not need much healing at all.
Arawn kneels at the shaman and slowly insepcts him.
But after a few long minutes nothing is found. No coins
just a simple finger bone necklace ofsome sort in apocket
that might have been used for either soup or some other
magical purpose. The only odd thing is a scorpion in the
shaman's shirt that falls out. The man must've been a
Tonah for the apes and the bugs. The Druid takes the
bug outside and deposits it on the ground to safety. Wit
thick gloves there is no danger.
The body itself is full of fading magical sense from
the man itself. But aside from the shrunken head and
some herbs that are found in the forest - nothing rare
or powerful - there is nothing else.
Frustrated Arawn leaves and finds the others. "We need to
find Fremea. I should be able to find her exact location if
anyone has an item she's been in contact with recently."
But no one seems to have such an item. So Arawn heads to
the table they were at to check the food and mugs. He
notices the box with the snake is toppled over and it
has been stabbed. He learns later the guard killed it
to ensure it does not escape.
Upstairs Kiet and Arawn find living quarters but no bodies.
They find the window the apes must've climbed in. Probably
carrying the spikers. But there is a good sign that no one
is hurt or dead. They head back down stairs.
The guard is seen pacing back and forth wondering where
the reinforcements are.
[Time: 7:48:00 pm - Donara City]

[Time: 7:45:40 pm - Donara City]
Sitting in the tree, watching her parents for a minute or
so, questioning what she should do or whether they will accept
that she is who she is, she makes a decision. She also curses
that Varange still managed to play her. He may have helped her
to make sure her parents are safe, but he owes her a lot more
than just getting her parents safe now. Taking the piece means
he has all of them and the means he is even more dangerous.
Flying down to the ground gently, making sure they see her.
"You may not remember me, but I will do my best to explain.
First though I want to get you some where safer with my friends.
I had to leave them too suddenly and they were under attack just
as I came to get you." She lets that sink in for a few. Waiting
to see if they have anything to say, or even possibly recognize
her.
Freema's dad looks wary and around but Saya seems to stare
at this new Fae in front of them. That's when Fremea can
see the eyes. They are hers, with the glnt of green on
the sides. She looks away briefly. But Saya continues to
stare. Saya looks Fremea up and down confused but there is
someting in her mouth - a bit of a twitch that seems almost
amused?
"I will say it has been over 2 decades and I am your daughter
and I know you never abandoned me."
Fremea's father turns right toward Frema hearing this. Saya
seems to lose her breath and her legs waver. She grabs onto
her husband and seems to stare. Fremea's father goes pale
a bit, "what?"
Saya then reaches for Fremea and brushes her hand with her
palm as if to see if real. Her lip quivers a bit as if
nervous to see something scary. She reaches up and touches
Fremea's left cheek. Years ago Fremea would've backed away
and stopped any touch. But it just seems right.
"Fr-...Fremea?" Saya says. "But..." She then recals what
she just heard. Two decades? "It is...you....by Kalinda!"
She pulls back and tears begin to flow.
Fremea's anger fades like a shooting star in the sky and
a few tears roll down. She has not actually cried in years.
But she wipes them away. She needs to get them to safety.
"Do you..no of course not..I'm Saya...and this is your
father Anorlic." Anorlic reaches out and with a shaking
hand grabs and squeezes Fremea's hand.
But Saya rushes forward and hugs Fremea. At first Fremea
doesn't know how to react. She can't even recall being hugged
in years. She has seen kids reach around and wit hands
pat the back. Yes. That was it. Then instinct seems to
sink in and she hugs for a long time. It seems like
an eternity.
Fremea explains they should head back to town and fnd
the others. Then she can explain everything.
Both look in the darkness to the east. The Mordara
hills and caves block the city but faint glows can be
seen. "To the city? But they don't like us there."
Fremea smiles and explains they will be safe and she
just would never let anyone hurt them. Finally afer
a long time they relent and join Fremea flying toward
the city.
She will make sure her parents are taken care of properly, but
Varange will have to be dealt with. It is now time to visit the
Royals with Arawn at her side. But she feels calm finally, an
anger has subsided now she has her parents.

Fremea tries to calm her nerves but this time it is pure
excitement of the moment. She flies toward the city fast.
But she realizes she doens't know where the tavern is from
here. Her parents flying behind. Fremea tries not to out
fly them as they must be tired but the two seem to have
gained a new strength as well.
Fremea reaches the edge of the city and starts looking for
places that must be lit at this hour inside. On one street
she notices a man carrying a large bag or something on his
shoulder but passes over.
Then she sees a white blur that is a good sign. She
moves toward the circling Corona a couple of miles east
of her location. But before reaching the tavern she
finds a dark warehouse. She lands and waves her parents
there. She tells them to stay here until she returns.
She digs into her bag to find some food and rations. She
leaves her water skin and explains she needs to help her
friends. The large eagle can watch over them and they
should be safe here as long as they don't make noise.
Fremea hates to leave them but without some disguise they
could be harmed if not arrested. She doesn't speak as well
as Z'leyra but learns some basic info on the fight. She
is sad to hear of the wolf and wonders if that bag of
whatever on that man was the wolf she passed?
Inside Arawn has collected the saliva from a mug and is ready
to cast the spell to find Fremea.
Fremea lands and grumbles putting her dress back on. She
heads to the front door to help.
[Time: 7:52:12 pm - Donara City]
With dagger in hand Fremea opens the door and sees the
sight around. By now the customers are sitting at table
snot eating but chatting. She sees the dead apes and
some others near a table she doens't know who are. But
she glances around. Where is Kell, Kiet and Unali? Then
from the stairs she sees them coming donw stairs. But
Will is still missing. That must've been him. So is
Kell missing from the gorup.
Arawn notices Fremea and grunts that magic was nice to find
her so soon then realizes he never cast anything.
Fremea sheathes her dagger. The guard stops here. "Where
is your family?"
Arawn explains she is with them. The guard eyes Fremea
over a bit and shrugs. He goes back to pacing in front
of the windows.
Fremea gets a full report on what is going on but she is
grinning so much Arawn can't help but grinning as well for
some reason.
Fremea is about to explain about her parents and the
fight when Raban speaks up. For the first time Fremea
notices his wound and frowns. "That guard has requested
more to come. Are we going to stick around? If not
here or go back home? Do we still need to find your
parents?"
Kiet explains that kell went to try to stop the
troops from coming or at least stall them.
By now Will never told anyone of the mysterious Elf.
Even when Z'leyra came outside he never told her. So
the Elf is not known to be around.

[Time: 8:00:00 pm - Donara City]
To the west near the edge of the forest Will finds a grove
of trees. The river is still 4-5 miles away. But
the area here is the best forest. Depression begins
to sink in. He is upset that he forgot that in his bag
he had that healing wand. It might've saved the wolf.
Once he is alone in the forest he rests his hands on his
wolf, meditates a bit with closed eyes, then opens his eyes
and says softly. "Aye, you've been a good companion, ya can be
a good companion fer awhile yet." He then carves off enough of
the hide to make a belt and a couple of pouches which he will
use to hold the eyes that he will enhance. Afterwards he buries
the rest of the wolf.

GM: A good place to stop. Wasn't expecting Will to go running
off so that will stagger things. I was going to do more
but time is short. So will add it later. This was a bit
hard to move the group to Fremea's timeline. So why
the time healing and such above. Once timelines were
equal it was easier. I hoope I covered everything in the
actions posted. If not let me know. This week will be
a bit hectic. I have a college graduation for niece to
go to Thursday and other stuff. So I may not have time
to do a Friday update. But we'll see. If not will
work on it Saturday for sure.
In the next few weeks we need to transition Once the
group returns to Marentia. Once back in Marentia the
adventure is over. Once that is done we can do CPs
and spend those points. Then we can figure out IBT.
But these things require other things done first. We
got to end the adventure to get cps and I have to update
sheets to send to folks but I like to do that when
I send out CPS (I know can't do both ugh). We also
need to figure out next adventure for IBT time. All
these things rely on other things.
So agenda is -
* Determine next Adventure. See that link on website.
I posted this awhile back as well but no reply. So
lets get those votes in so I can plan on IBT.
* Update sheets
* Send out CP points.
* Spend CP points but need sheets first but need
to clean sheets with cp done (a vicious cycle).
* Any final Treasure stuff like that darn dark ruby.
* Any last minute actions here in Donara.
Once adventure is over I hope to work on some projects
like clean this computer out and move pnp files to
new ocmputer. That will take time. I want to also
research map stuff since no one seems to like my
maps though I love them. I also need to setup new
postings guidelines for more modern times.
IBT will take time as well so may be a summer thing.
I suspect Will be going to npc since not really
playing anymore.
GM: Fremea - Figured want to keep parents near but safe till
figured out situation.
Arawn/Z'leyra - No healing was needed. Just first
aid. Healing a bump on head seems silly. the
other two light wounds had valid reasons to not get
healed Sorry. Its that whole fear of magic as a
citizen.
