[pnpgm] Into the weird zone....

[pnpgm]

   Mae's spirit flies through the hole.  Bright light....a odd
   whirling sound....then the bright ebbs.  She stares at a
   man sitting with his back to her.  The man is staring at a
   bright square box.

   The man turns around.

   "What? How did you get here?"  The man glances at the corner
   where 3 drunk dwarves are wrestling.  Mae notices the for the
   first time.  "What is going on here you idiots!"

   The Dwarves look up and grunt. They see the spirit and scared
   run out of the room.

   "This is not on the script!"  The man turns to the box.  Mae
   gets closer to see text scroll by.

   She reads and oddly knows the language...

   "..She flies toward the hole!"

   The man slams a fist on a square thing in front of him.

   He turns to Mae's spirit.  "There has been a mistake.  I
   think the idiots dictated the wrong thing.  I will have
   to fix this.  They tend to have fun like this.  So sorry.
   They like to call it a April Fool's joke.  So let's get
   you back to the Perilous Lands.  Rather the prison world."

   With that he turns and begins to slams his fingers on the
   square thing.

   Mae's spirit dissolves...

   The universe shifts...

   The last 12 seconds go bye.

   The party now stands ready to fight for Phase 7

   GM: Ok.  Last two updates you might've figured out were fake.
       A nice april fool's joke.  Blame the dwarves.  It is a
       rite of passage.  Every new player goes through it.  Pyan
       was last killed last year.  :)  The others were in on the
       joke though I had hoped they'd play it up a bit more.

       Sorry Dorhak!
       Sorry Mournath!
       Sorry Mae!

       Hope you see it as all a good jest.  Did you guys even
     notice the last update?  Look at the top roster.  See
     anything odd some added words?  "a great joke!"?  :)

       So party will go back to phase 7.  No one is dead.
       File #827 is present and update #117 is last real one.
       So phase 7-10 are gone.  We go back to Phase 7 and
       move on.  This next update will be Wednesday.  A real
       update.

       Keep in mind the fake updates did have clues on what could
       happen.  So if you change plans keep this in mind.  To
       recap see Update #117.  To see what has gone on.

       Arawn - Still want to keep the inviso and orb plan that's fine.

       Dorhak - May want to avoid that window. :)

       Fremea - Still want to fascinate the shifter?  Keep in
         mind this is not a great area for magic.

       Kell - Please come back!  I hate to kill you again.

       Mournath - Hope feeling better and ready to play?

       Pyan - Deja Vu? :)

       Mae - See I told you no need to do a new character.
         But keep this in mind.  I think Z'layha does still
         ask for her dagger (and it is hers).  You could just
         hand it over? :)  Be careful what you wish with these
         thralls. :)

       Z'leyra - Yep still have curse.  Unless you know negate
          curse?

   So a fun joke? :)  Normally I'd do one update for it.  But there
   were reasons to do 2 and a week ahead.  A person was planning
   on a joke on me so was aware of the date.  So if I did it a
    bit ahead of time and the day then it would work better.  It
    certainly did. :)
