OOC: I missed this earlier, so am inserting it to complete
Rddok's prep for trip, & to try to correct errors in personnel
Raddok is working with.
[OOC: Sorry this is so out of order. I appear to be worrying
about the wrong details & missing what Raddok needs to be doing
(& which he would know to ask about since Kiet & Arawn were so
helpful to him, a stranger). I will try to do better.
GM: Ack. No worry you're fine. Best thing to do to see if
you miss stuff is check Archives. See any post at top is
a header with link. This site is updated in real time way
before I update my site which is not as quickly. This archive
site has all the posts even so I don't get like from Pyan
or Ix at random times due to google/yahoo issues.

I have figured that water is:
1 gal (4 liters)/day/person minimums x2 for exercise (working
the ship)=2 gal/day 2gal x 30 days=60gal/month. This is about 500#
of water and barrel. Slightly larger than a normal barrel today.
So...16 people x 2gal/day = 32gal/day. 14 day trip down to Halle.=
448gal, about 8 barrels. Add two for safety. Total 10 water
barrels just in case.
Kiet recommends including some cheap wine to use as flavoring
mixed into the water and it helps prevent disease. So...1 barrel
of cheap wine. 🷠but keep it under lock and key...sailors
aren’t known for their sobriety.
Food...average 3fp/day x 16 people x 14 days= 672 fp...round to
700. Travel rations all.
Buy enough of all of these at Halle for the return trip...we do
tend to leave our destinations in a hurry.
Food for the Eagle...maybe some rabbits ðŸ‡
Food for wolf...they eat once every three to four days...but
they need live food. We will need 4-6 goats...which can also
provide fresh milk... while they last, anyway. In the meantime,
don’t annoy the wolf.
And...maybe buy a keg of ale for our captain and his friend...
just for sucking up purposes. 😉
This is probably more than what any manor might have....so I
suspect we will need to buy this stuff.
GM: Ack. Great info pal. How did you find the wolf 3-4 cycle? Nice.
Can wolves eat fish? Eagle could probably eat fish as well.
Course whoever (hint hint) gets supplies will need to include
fishing supplies. So you paying for this? :)

Raddok helps Kiet with supplies.
His face got a little red as he added, "I don't have that much
in funds with me, but I will leave a letter with the moneylender
that he can for ward to his contact in Donara, and hence forward
to my foster father, who can release the funds from my account
there to pay back the moneylender here. It's a bit roundabout,
but he will get paid back, hopefully without my having to draw
any more from what I have with me. I haven't had much contact
with moneylenders until I needed to send funds home recently,
so it's all a bit uncomfortable for me."
He added, "What are your needs as far as my horse is
concerned? I'll take care of it while out on your shopping
errands. Do you have any suggestions as to gear I might need?"
[OOC: This conversation will have taken place before Raddok
leaves the ship with whoever is getting supplies, and finds the
climbing gear which he buys, since he can climb a bit & has no
gear for it yet. (Raddok WILL pick up whatever she might
suggest for his own personal use, if it seems reasonable, and
willingly help whoever she dispatches to get supplies.]

GM: A short update. Wanted to get this out before the
daily storm erupts. I did mostly behind scenes stuff.
I'm still (HINT HINT) waiting on the supplies. The
non food/water stuff. Also waiting for Arawn to give
me details on Current spell info for trip agenda.
Since folks work better with deadlines how about we set
a deadline for next Wednesday? :) So we can move
on and get ship moving.
As to sheets I'm down to 2 left. Raddok I have a lot of
gear edits so I have to take line by line. For Unali
I was waiting for a email reply and got it. So will be
doe ewith that fast. If need updated sheets for those
listed as Done then let me know. If it says Completed
for Gear I know what your taking. HOWEVER, if you have
NOT given info on ammo/food or such then not my fault if
you fire a quiver without arrows. :) The completed only
tells me I've done as much as I can.
So Supplies/Agenda then we move on. I'm off next 2 days
so hope to finish these 2 sheets by Friday. Then
work on agenda. Also I want to update the Roster as its
20 years old. So I'll figure out a new format.
