After Finn wrapped up his summarization of the details

match Khias's if someone desires and
GM: Ack. In case Raddok doesn't say
company is housed in Port Vahear. A company like
that is bound to have agents or offices on island.

Kiet looks surprised at the idea
the armor might be intelligent. The power it
takes to make such an object is tremendous, and
its integral power is dramatically more than the
usual enchanted item. Kiet will need to be careful with
it.
Later, after the summary of why
we were here is spelled out, Kiet says "I also
remind you that whatever it is the Vahearans seek, its goal is

guidance in regards to this quest.
GM: Ack. I must admit the riddle I
came up was literally done in 5 min and fast and
on the fly. :) I think I did well. :)

The Captain, seeing some
division about the goods captured, decides to
step in and make some decisions (i.e. roll dice
to see who gets what). You will also want to read what's at the bottom.
Here is the result:
Z'leyra -

(in other words,
if one share was 100 GC, the total approximate
value would count toward that 100 GC. In Unali's
case, for instance, she would get her items claimed, plus 50 GC)
GM: Ack. Trimmed it down for space. Well done.

ooc: you mean his 'precious'?
That was from the end of the last adventure with
the shifters. :P I just noticed it wasn't on my char sheet was all.
IC: Pyan accepts the chainmail with great respect
for the captain's decision. He immediately tries
it on and does a dance, that Omavor kids do to
train their flexibility and gross motor skills,
to make sure that it fits him correctly before
thanking Dorhak formally for the chainmail.
GM: Ack. Not on the current sheet?
Hmm. Yeah chain fits well and its half the
weight of normal chain (25 pounds) so even decent for hunting.

[I have sent 3 emails to Scott
(GM) re Finn's summary of the reasons why they
are now off the coast of Vahear. I cannot say
anything here until I hear from him. It involves
my 2nd novel (Raddok's previous visit to Vahear)
& I don't know whether things are going to get
tied up of not with Finn's story.]
GM: Ack. As stated in emails. Its
not a big deal. Anything you say I can work
with. :) Make it up. It may or may not matter. :)

As a reminder, Arawn can
disguise someone to look like Khias. He can use
Personal Illusion or Transmutation to create the
disguise or help with one. I'm not sure how
available I'll be to RP Arawn in this role but
can do it if necessary. However, unless someone
else can R/W Fomorian I'd suggest at least having
Arawn along in case paperwork is involved during interactions.
GM: Ack. Illusion does help but not
for height. Sure could wear stilts/high
boots. But that only works so much. :) I sent Dorhak a vague hint on this.

GM: Ack. See email on answer. But
that quick post I made shows the only 4 folks who
speak it and in which order. Unali being best.

I also forgot two items people
claimed. There was an amulet to detect brass for
Raddok, and elder twigs for Z’leyra. Both of
those should be added to those players. Sorry about missing those!

[Apris 30th, 1636TH]
[Time: 9:01 am]
Captain Dorhak decides time is up and
resolves any loot conflicts. He is surprised no
one objects to his orders. At the end he brings two up for special mention.
"Mournath, come forward! You have
done well to get us this far safely and steered
us away from several dangers. In honor of your
service thus far, I present to you this
sextant!" (he won it in the roll anyway). "Good job, Navigator."
The sailors clap as its a rare
item. Only maybe 1 out of 45-50 ships may have
only 1. Zepp murmurs, “got us off course a few
times but who doesn't!' He grins.
"Kiet Sunan! Step forward. This
next and final item is for you. more than once,
the power you have shown defending this ship has
saved it from certain destruction. That deserves
more than mere recognition. This one item could
easily be worth more than we took from the
pirates all combined. Or not. The choice is
yours. Will you give up your full share of the
pirate's loot for this one suit of chainmail armor?"
"For the rest of us, our claimed
items shall be counted as part or our individual
share of the pirate's largesse."

[Time: 7:14 pm]
After Finn wrapped up his
summarization of the details surrounding the mission Arawn spoke up.
"I can alter appearances to match
Khias's if someone desires and wishes to take on
that role. As to chains, I cam glamour some up or
transmute something solid but easily broken."
"Also, I can't recall, but is this
inn in Ma'dor or in Port Vahear? And do we have a
location for the Tal-Kor company?"
Those who reviewed the scarce documents say the Inn is in Ma'dor.
After the summary of why we were here
is spelled out, Kiet says, "I also remind you
that whatever it is the Vahearans seek, its goal
is something fiendish against my homeland. While
it is imperfect, I assure you that my home island
is as dear to me as your homes are to you."
Brutto looks up, “Fomorians control
the southern seas and oceans. This is fact. If
they can get a hold in the far east...that would
lead to direct competition with Katai and
such. Image their trade routes then? They could triple their income.”
Arawn added, "I had sought out
guidance in regards to this quest. The message I
received isn't clear to me but hopefully it'll
make sense to some here or as we progress."
Addressing the party and crew he
shared the divine message. "The heart leads to
long term trauma while the mind relies on
daunting ambition. Which can lead to old meeting new and new meeting old."
"Pyan! Zepp! Mournath! Which of
you speaks Fomorian the best?" Dorhak bellows.
But the 3 shake heads negative. Then
Finn pipes up again, “our orders from Captain
Damon who loaned us to you was that we were not
to help. I believe aside from some colorful
words he said 'Don't follow those fools into
oblivion. They tend to get people
killed.' Sorry Captain, but we will stay on the ship.”
"Perhaps we can discard the idea of
trying to imitate the slaver Khias. Instead tell
the Vahearans that we are his agents and he has
been delayed due to the stubborn resistance of
the dwarves. We could offer up our dwarves (beg
pardon, Capt'n) in fake chains as a gesture of
Khias'." Kiet includes into the conversation.
"Then we follow where that road leads."
"I could whip up some fake
manacles...but it would be an illusion and
Z’leyra would have to put away her bauble. Then both dwarves could be
taken away but not truly be chained."
Barbosa nods, “a solid plan. Unless
this guy decides to come here to ship and knows
the Black Depths is Khias's ship.”

Next Update...Saturday?
GM: Sorry for delay – but I wanted to
finish character sheets. But we are back in the
groove. Doesn't look like a firm plan has been
made. :< I am off Thur/Fri so can do next update
Wed or Thur. Mana report updated with
mini-ibt. Everyone is in good shape – Kiet
slightly down on mana but all in good shape.
