[Time: 1:24:09 pm – South-East of Ma'Dor]
[Turn 1: Phase 3]
Fremea knows that she will not be
very effective against these animated armors,
though she does not want to abandon her family.
But, that scum needs to return with the book or
this will not end. "I will get Velf!" As she
flies into the portal as fast as she can. Daggers
out, prepared to block just in case.
Unali turns and runs to and through
the portal with daggers in hand.
Arawn turns and pulls his shield off
back and his dagger to hand. He swipes at #3
Suit but fails to hit. As he does this he braces
and does a forward kick hitting the suited armor
which staggers slightly but does not fall.
Mournath sees 3 coming his way and
moves westward toward the rock platform or be swamped by attackers.
Kiet activates his boots of speed
with the addition of a fire trail. He will do
his best to put a trail of fire between the
portal, the group members, and these dead dwarves.
Kiet ignores #11 and #12 near him and
activates his boots for speed and fire. He runs
north east then north passing Pyan, with a wink
to the hunter, passing next to Z'leyra and ends at the north wall.
The wall of fire trailing behind his
boots is 5 feet wide. This at this point blocks
6 suits. Suit #4 is next to Z'leyra and is now
thanks to the fire engulfed in fire. There is
no scream only the suit twitching slightly as it takes 12 points of damage.
It is not a perfect situation yet as
there is 20 feet open to the south wall and there
are other suits behind the wall. But it is a
start. Kiet is amazed the magic works as this
place is probably warded against it. But for
magic items it may work not magic cast.
Z'leyra suddenly sees this fire wall
5 feet high in front of her. It engulfs most of
Suit #4 who begins to wiggle and twitch. She
backs away to avoid the heat. Glancing south she
sees the wall somewhat in that area. She turns
and notices one attacking Arawn who needs to
study the runes. She runs to help Arawn and
swings her great sword to the creatures left hip
where there is a slight exposed area doing 12
points of damage. The creature wobbles but stands.
Raddok notices Kiet to his left side
vision move being chased by fire? No. Creating
fire? He notices to his side view more wall to
his left. So now 2 suits are blocked a bit he
may be last point before 3 surge forward. He
swings his mace hitting Suit #9 in right lower
abdomen near hip doing 10 points. The suit wobbles and falls down.
Barbosa swings his own mace at #8 but fails to hit.
Suit #1 sees Unali – or senses it –
leave and moves to nearest foe which is Barbosa.
Suit #2 swings at Dorhak but fails to hit.
Suit #3 turns to Z'leyra with a
slight limp due to his damaged hip and fails to hit with weapon.
Suit #4 wobbles and is confused and steps backwards into the fire.
Suit #5 moves forward but senses the
fire and turns south moving to get around the wall.
Suit #6 moves toward fire and is dumb
enters it. It stops in the fire and takes 14 points of damage.
Suit #7 sees Fremea and Unali leave
and turns to attack nearest enemy which is
Barbosa. Moving closer it swings mace right into
the dwarf's back doing 16 points of damage. Barbosa screams in pain.
Suit #8 at same time swings at
Barbosa but he blocks it with his shield.
Suit #9 swings on Raddok but fails to hit.
Suit #10 senses the fire and ignores
Raddok moving west toward Barbosa. It swings on Barbosa and fails to hit.
Suit #11 is dumb as well and enters
the fire wall and is stopped taking 12 points of damage.
Suit #12 is just as dumb and tries to
move toward Raddok but hits the flame wall taking
18 points of damage as it is stalled in the fire.
Pyan shakes his head a bit as if
dazed by something and watches as Suit #11 enters
the fire. Having now spear in hand he activates
the magical electrical portion and hits the Suit
in upper left abdomen the spear does only 2
points but metal is condusitve to electricity and
the Suit takes 9 more points of damage.
Dorhak swings at his suited attacker but misses.

[Time: 1:24:13 pm – South-East of Ma'Dor]
[Turn 1: Phase 4]
Arawn sees Z'leyra helping and uses
the distraction to do a full spin and kick at
Suit #3. This time with full body weight he
kicks and the suited being falls to the
ground. Spinning around he studies the runes
once again. He murmurs to Z'leyra to help Barbosa.
Mournath sighs and sees Pyan almost
attacked by 3 again. He turns around and goes to
help as he sees Pyan cause damage to one. He
stabs with spear Suit #11 doing 3 points. The
suit the falls to the ground while still in the fire.
Kiet curses why has Mournath and Pyan
not moved closer to portal? If he goes south
he'll block them in between the fire. He needs
to help Barbosa. So he decides to move and
retrace his steps almost but just outside the
fire. He goes back south past 4, 6 and a down
11. He moves past 5 and then 12 now catching
them into the 5 foot fire trail. Now he can get to Barbosa in seconds.
Z'leyra steps onto suit #3's hand and
grinds it so the bones in the glove are pretty
useless. Then moves to help Barbosa. She swings at #10 but fails to
hit.
Raddok sees #9 on ground and rushes
to #1 swinging his mace but it doesn't penetrate armor.
Barbosa badly wounded considers
fleeing for safety but he is a dwarf who rarely
flee. He swings at #8 but misses.
Suit #1 turns to Raddok swings but his shield.
Suit #2 swings at Dorhak but hits his shield.
Suit #3 tries to stand but falters.
Suit #4 tries to step out of the fire
but finds his boots seem to be melted and fused
to ground. He takes another 10 points of damage.
Suit #5 trying to avoid fire wall is
hit as Kiet passes by the fire. It takes 15
points of damage and is confused on where to move.
Suit #6 tries to escape the fire but
takes too much damage and falls to the ground smoldering.
Suit #7 hits Barbosa on arm doing 4 more points to him.
Suit #8 hits #8 in left middle chest doing 2 more points.
Suit #10 swings on Barbosa but hits his shield.
Suit #11 tries to move toward
Mournath but as he tries to swing his suit seems
to melt away and his bones fall in a heap all on fire.
Suit #12 also affected when Kiet
passes takes enough damage it collapse to the ground.
Pyan suddenly grasps his thoughts and
moves back toward the platform where Arawn is and stares at the creature.
Dorhak swings on #2 but fails to hit.
The creature has been watching
confused and unsure what to do. With the relic
gone its directive is gone. Does it help the invaders or the Suits?
Actions? Comments?
Next Update: Saturday?
GM: Will be busy Tue/Wed/Thur so best
next update is saturday. Will try we'll
see. Barbosa got lucky on a deadly hit 2d10
rolled a 3 and 1 or he'd might've died. No cheat
roll he was lucky. Fremea/Unali will get to you
guys later. Assuming portal is not instant death.
GM: Arawn – Primary study of runes is for what?
Kiet: Where ever you walk will
be fire. You move before Barbosa and Z so if you
help Barbosa it will be trick to block those
Suits there. Got a plan? You could try to move
next to the and the 5 foot fire will affect them
but getting close to B/Z will be tricky.
