         [Time: 5:42 am – Besam, Eastern Lands, Dwarf Village]

            While awaiting Dorhak's 
return   Arawn tended to his own wounds with the 
hands of a skilled healer. He allowed himself a 
short nap, rising after being informed of the 
besamer's desire to have the injured brought into 
the village. While the group was tended he 
brought up details of the situation regarding 
Barbosa with both Dorhak and the besamer healers 
before dispelling the enchantment that kept him in suspension.

            Knowing that the villagers had a 
greater knowledge of dwarven physiology with the 
medical skills to match he worked with them as 
needed to help ensure Barbosa's survival.
            Raddok takes a brief nap, maybe a 
half-hour & spends the rest of the waiting period 
keeping a half-watch of their surroundings. He 
likes the look of the country. Raddok will be 
amenable to Dorhak's requests/orders, & rather 
relieved that these apparently nice besamer folk 
seem to be exactly what they are, straightforward 
& honest enough, once they understand the party 
is not a threat to them. He will feel rather 
resigned to another journey, but will quickly 
cheer up, realizing the party is still all 
together. He only hopes that this new journey 
will allow them to carry their weapons. After 
all, he signed up for this adventure, & it seems 
there's still a bit of a mystery involved to all that had happened so far.

            He is more than willing to help 
injured party members, either helping to carry 
Barbosa (in a cot) or supplies, if he does not 
have to carry Dorhaks weapons along with his own 
[this mentioned because idk if Dorhak comes to 
get them or not? If he does, I assume he'll take 
up his own weapons & Raddok can help others] & 
would be a bit embarrassed being considered 
wounded, altho he is still recovering from a 
minor shoulder wound. (He will, however, be 
relieved to have the time to get it properly 
cared for, since it's his shield arm.)

            Z'leyra will use the time to offer a 
teaching moment as she demonstrates how she bandages her wound.

            After spending sometime watching the 
group to make sure nothing was going to hurt 
them, she decided it was time to come down and 
rejoin the group. Yet, she knew it would not 
serve her to show her wings off, so a disguise, 
but not a kid this time. She needed to make it 
seem like she was just a short human woman, 
having tracked her party down and showing some water she had gotten.

            She quickly changes into some of her 
newer clothes, but makes sure they are a bit 
dirtied up (since she would have been in the 
woods) and checks her wings and ears are well 
hidden. Then she finds one of her flasks, that 
should have some water, and hurriedly gets to the camp.

            Using a little bit lower register of 
her voice, "Sorry, I am late, took me forever to 
find one of my flasks and then to get the water 
needed." She stops short of the whole group, 
"Wow, that is a lot of shorter men, what did I 
miss?" (making sure her wariness and confusion show through her voice).

            Villager notice Fremea but just shrug 
it off as they go about their morning 
routine.  By now guards have disbanded and taken village duties.

            Three female Besamer – one elderly 
and rest are young – as well as a young male meet 
with Arawn as he desribes Barbosa's wounds.  They 
ask questions and the older one talks in their 
native tongue giving instructions.  The elder 
then says, “he is in that?  Strange magic 
indeed.  But you elves are strange 
indeed.    Looks like we will be ready soon bring him inot this hut there. “

            By now the aides are in the hut 
preparing materils of various types form bandages 
to knives to herbs and brews of odd smelling 
liquids.  She nods to the aides knowing they may 
have only a few seconds to save Barbosa.  Arawn 
knows that under the odd rules set out by the 
gods a new morning means a new chance of 
healing.  But if it was an hour before sunrise it 
could endanger the healing.  Now this new day 
brings another hcance to save the dwarf.

            The elder sighes and nods to Arawn to 
release Barbosa.  Time seems to slow down as 
Barbosa reappears in his bloody self.  Two of the 
females begin stripping and cutting 
clothes.  Dorhak and Arawn watch from the side 
worried for the dwarf.  The elder assesses the 
wounds.  She speaks in her native tongue and 
Arawn gets impresison there is no time for 
medical skills – Barbosa is probably already 
dead.  The elder waves a hand and points to the 
male.  The male picks up a rock of some sort and 
places it in Barbosa's chest over his 
heart.  Then he taps the rock thrice and a shock 
pulses thorugh Barbosa.  The Elder checks pulse 
and nods to the male again.  The healer shocks 
him agan and this time Elder nods  and speaks 
probably a bit of life is back in the dwarf.  The 
male removes the rock and the females rush to 
place a green-orange-brown mixture on the 3 major 
wounds.  As they do this elder elevates the head 
a bit an dpours a green clear broth into the mouth of Barbosa slowly.

            Almost instantly wounds begin to 
sizzle.  Dorhak grips his hands and moves a step forward but Arawn stops him.

            Suddenly Barbosa chokes and elder 
stops the broth.  She helps to calm the now 
conscious dwaf but the dwarf grits his teeth in 
pain.  But in the next 2 seconds the sizzle stops 
and the skin seems to thicken up and fold onto 
itslef as it heals.  Elder speaks in dwarf elder, 
“drink a bit more.' She continues to pour the broth down his throat.

            Barbosa begins to sweat and shake 
then calms down.  “What wagaon ran over 
me?”  Then he falls back asleep.  The elder 
gently places head on the table and moves to the 
2 watching.  The aides start to clean the goo 
from chest an dbring new clothes to dress him once he is able to move again.

            “He should be fine.  He is still hurt 
but another day or two he'll be fine.  He needs 
rest now though for a few hours.”  She waves the two outside the hut.

            Gnorf walks nearby, “we seem to grow 
another person.”  He points to Fremea as she sits 
near Unali.  “Breakfast is ready in about 10-15 
minutes.  How long before you move out?  We will 
...give..lend...I'm not sure...the raider horses 
if it will help.  But that will leave you 
half...5..or 6 with that new one...without 
horses.  We don't have more to spare as we mostly 
walk.  I've been asked to guide you to the 
kril.  But I have my own horse.   Though I'm not fond of the beasts.”

         [Time: 6:18 am – Besam, Eastern Lands, Dwarf Village]

            Arawn watches the party closely 
interact with the dwarves. Barbosa is much better 
with 2 full wounds healed and 1 heavy one and 1 light one left

         GM: Actions? Comments?

             Next update...Wednesday or Saturday?

         GM: Wow.  What a update.  Bess unsure 
what was the issue But I cut/paste your emails 
and even used website cut/paste.  But for some 
reason some odd ball character was in there as it 
was one long sentence with no carriage 
returns.  So putting it up messed up format.  Not 
sure why.  Finally had to put in wordpad as 
notepad and office messed up.  Then cut from word 
pad to here office.  Weird.  That took a few 
hours.  A small update but its good for 
now.  Next 2 weeks day off will be busy with docs 
and taxes.  So will try to get update as I 
can.  Stay tuned!  I've not heard from Chris 
lately but have Don and still working on his character.
