	   GM: Ack. I never make sure silly 
mistakes!  I'll go beat thorse dwarves who write 
down my dictation! They'll learn! But yes correct 
due to their goof, not mine, tho the rules are a 
bit gray here.  So I'll try to recover on this. 
:) Update-So looks like staff did not goof.  You 
per my notes are not Knocked out your leg is 
disabled.  So your actions can stand.  Just can't stand/use leg.

		SO... as  Mournath is unconscious and bleeding out now...

	   GM: Ack. I'm there with ya on life events.  I 
love this near death mental scene.  I love it! 
That's how to do a post as a role player not just 
2 lines of actions. Thanks. Made me smile I'll try to add to it.

		Not totally sure what you meant, but I'm 
assuming Varo is down until either arouses on her 
own, per DM, or healed by someone. So, she is 
taking no action until then. If I think of a 
dream for her, I will add it in, but she's just 'blacked out' for now.

		I assume her horse will run off a ways, in fear.
	   GM: Ack. Yes you are correct.  I'll fix the 
mistake done by my staff.  As to horse you have a 
war horse? I'll check.  If so war would probably 
stand by your side.  Non War Horses would run. So 
that could be a issue with the horse type. :)

		Juno is frightened and has major feelings of desperation. He 


		Ooc: If he can my character can this round or 
next round or when ever if possible ever cast a 
spell of protection on whoever my god chooses. 
Which at the moment is Scott lol.

suspect you'd do Varo first since seem to be more 
friendly with her.  Since not given specific person.

		Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours! I'm enjoying 
turkey thighs - I'm alone, so no whole turkey for 
me - I have the lovely dark meat & they cooked 
wonderfully well! (I already ate half a thigh - 
will get 3 more meals from them!) I have a 
pumpkin pie from my church deacon & got veggies 
to fill out the meal, so I'm feasting well & will 
watch "Trains, Plane & Automobiles" tomorrow.

		Enjoy my pics! I hope to get more onto thumb 
drives this coming year. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

		[Correction from Episode 35: Varo does not lose 
consciousness, & although her leg is injured, she 
is still mobile & manages to fire an arrow at 
each of two of the attacking griffons, although 
doing little damage. --Â  Thank you, Scott, for clearing my confusion!]

		Varo looks around to see who needs help, & to 
look for shelter from overhead attacks. She is 
alarmed at seeing several people down & Mournath, 
unconscious, is being dragged by Jaren to shelter.
She will attempt to make her way, bow ready & 
armed, to Rocky, then Juno & will cast Healing at 
2nd level on their legs for each injured leg (three legs for the two men).
  [If I understand right, these healing spells will use 6 POW of her 13?]
  If the griffons threaten again, she will again 
fire at them, trying to hit them in chest or 
abdomen, even wings if she must (altho’ a 
griffin on the ground is no less dangerous than one flying).

		She will also try to keep an eye on Jaren to 
protect him as he drags Mournath to shelter. But 
she has to focus more on what’s going on around 
her immediate vicinity, if threat prevails. Her 
adrenalin is climbing & she whispers, “Great 
Ernalda, keep me balanced now – I need sharp eyes 
and swift hands to help my friends.�
	   GM: Ack. I post the late post here but I am 
98% done would be a big deal to change stuff.  So 
will keep this in mind for next time.  To clarify 
if a limb is disabled means can't use it ie 
walk.  So would need to crawl around.

	[New Stuff]

	[A previous night, Stasis week, Storm Season, 1625, Genertela, Glorantha]

	[Time: 6:22 pm]
	
	   A previous night at camp.

	   Juno says to Varo,  “I was battling this 
balance of power you speak of I won an internal 
battle you thoughts in the past helped I thank you.”

	   “I was struggling with this balance of when I 
do it for others or my own feelings of power.”

	   “I realized it is for others and now I can do 
these wonders and know it for the best.”

	   	--------
	[Clayday, Stasis week, Storm Season, 1625, Genertela, Glorantha]

	[Time: 4:16 pm]
	
	   Rocky reaches down and casts Healing on his 
leg to stop the bleeding. While the leg is still 
shredded it has stopped bleeding.  Muscle has 
been torn from bone.  So he can't stand and move 
yet.  He moves his shield to his chest as he sits 
up against a tree.  Pulling his sling ammo bag to his attention.

	   By now except for Mournaths and Jaren's 
horses there both down the horses have reached 
safety of the forest, safe until the griffins 
hunt them down.  The only other horse still 
around is Klorgars war horse.  The warrior has 
signaled to the horse to place itself between 
Juno and Varo to help defend them.  Also using 2 
fingers shifting the horse gets the tilt 
command.  So the horse sways back and forth its 
front body.  To make it less a standing target 
but the cult has learned it makes the hose bigger for prey and confuses them.
	
	   Varo's leg is wounded but not disabled and so 
she limps forward.  She glances the battlefield 
and sees Rocky and Juno wounded.  She briefly saw 
Mournath being dragged into the shadows of the 
forest.  She glances up and fires at one of the 
approaching griffins.  She aims at the chest of 
one griffin hits but it is too light to penetrate its hide.

	   Juno is frightened and has major feelings of 
desperation. He looks around as he lays there 
prone to see if others are still fighting.  He 
then says a blessing,”Bless us all to be strong 
and true to live thru this viscous attack. If you 
can Great “O” protect any in one our group you 
deem fit?”  The blessing was in his head so he 
can say it fast as saying I tout loud could result in combat ending.

	   As Juno lays there prone with a lance in his 
arms unable to stand he tries to defend himself 
from these viscous birds.  His mind says as he is 
laying there, “Do the gods see this from above as comical?”

	   Juno thinks to himself and tries to laugh 
does lance size matter to these birds.  He 
grimaces in retrospect, “if I'm gonna die at 
least I will die with my boots on and my longest weapon in my hand.”

	   Juno casts a protection spell on himself as 
he sees a arrow bounce off one griff by Varo's 
fire.  A subtle blue glows around his body as the spell takes effect.

	   Jaren looks to Varen to plead for healing for 
Mournath.  As Jaren places Mournath behind cover of a bush.

	   Varen considers the heavy wound. Maybe he can 
survive this if one dies. He only needs 1 or 2 to 
escort him.  Is it worth it?  He finally sighs 
and realizes not helping could cause morale 
issues.  He places hands on Mournath and casts a 
healing spell to stop the bleeding at this 
point.  It won't help much but at least the bleeding will stop.

	   Jaren pulls his bag from his back and pulls 
out bandages and starts first aid on Mournath.

	   Klorgar aims at one of the last 2 griffins, 
the others the offspring seem to be way higher 
and not diving, hits with his bow in his abdomen 
doing 10 points. The creature slams to the ground but seems to be still alive.

	   Razgar sees Klorgar down one but it doesn't 
seem to be unable to fly. Just hurt by its 
bottom.  Razgar charges with pike to kill the 
griffin before it moves toward Juno.  He swings 
his pike and it goes flying out of his hands and 
lands a foot to the side of the griffin.  Razgar 
is shocked how can one fumble holding a pike?The 
griffin turns its beak toward Razgar as he turned 
away from Juno. Razgar reaches for his battle axe on his back and goes pale.

	   Rocky sees the one griffin flying and diving 
but firing on a moving target is more 
difficult.  He twists his body a bit and aims at 
the griffin on ground before it takes to air. The 
sling projectile hits the griffin in left leg and 
hurts enough to make the griffin fall to his stomach.

	   Mournath down again sitting on a stump moving 
his pieces on a gameboard, as his opponent, a 
darkly robed figure with skeletal-thin hands, 
moves his own pieces. 'Here we are again,' says 
Mournath as he contemplates his move. 'I wasn't 
even in a war this time. Just side-tracked by 
some folks in need, and I tried to lend a 
hand.'  The robed figure responds in a wheezing 
voice, 'It's always the least important things 
that matter the most... and brings you to my company all the sooner.'

	   The robed figure looks to the side and lifts 
his cowled head to show a dark socket ed empty 
skull.  He glances back to Mournath, “do they 
save you or gamble?  It is funny considering the 
source.”  He then places his next move into a counter move.

	   Gray glimpses the fringes of Mounath's brain 
as he hears talking of Jaren and Varen but the details are foggy.

	Juno sees a griffin only 4 or so feet away.  He 
decides to roll and without fuming his lance he 
re grabs it then swings at the rear back of the 
griffin doing 7 points.  The griffin howls in 
pain as its severely hurt barely breathing.

	   The one griffin in air considers leaving but 
feels confident and dives toward Varo but fails to get close to her.

	   The one griffin on the ground can barely use 
his claws so tries to beak at Razgar but in his weakened state misses.

	   Varo sees one griffin on ground near allies 
so fires again at the one that just dove on 
her.  The arrow goes wild and misses by 10 feet.

	   Rocky aims at the griffin entangled in tree 
hits but does not penetrate his tough armor.

		-----------

	   By now 4 dead griffins on ground and one 
adult in trees trying to escape its 
limbs. 	   Jaren and Varen wrap bandages as one 
places some healing herbs in the cloth for 
Mounath.  Jaren notices Mournath's eyes and oddly 
seems to notice a skull? Hes seeing 
things.  There are 4 juveniles flying high above 
out of reach of bows. The young decide enough is 
enough and fly off to the west.



	   Klorgar fires his bow on the flying Griffin 
and hits in side chest doing 7 points past his 
tough hide.  The griffin does a horizontal spiral 
and smacks into a tree about 12 feet away from group.

	   Razgar grabs his axe and swings at the downed 
Griffin killing-it for its final reminder of life.

	   The griffin in tree bleeding badly finally 
escapes and tries to life off like a young bird 
first time out of nest.  As blood drips to the ground it slowly gains height.

	   Klorgar fires on the escaping griffin hitting 
him in the neck and the griffin dives into the tree tops about 30 feet away.

	   Razgar and Klorgar move to ensure the griffin 
in trees is dead.  It does not seem to be dead so leave him alone.

	   With that the fast ambush is over,  The group 
assesses the damage. Several can't move with 
limbs disabled.  There are 4 dead griffins on the 
ground and 1 nearby that fell from the trees to 
the ground dead.  Somewhere are the offspring 
immature griffin but a guard is made on the skies above.

	   Mournath's horse is dead and Jarens is half dead.
	
	   Juno, Mournath and Rocky has taken enough 
damage to a leg to require major healing.  While 
bleeding has stopped they are disabled 
legs.  While Griffins could really not severe a 
leg with claws and a low chance with beak they 
could shred the muscle away from bone.

	   Jaren scans the group and sees the downed 
members.  “Marusks is there a major healer nearby?”

	   Marusks shakes his head, “to heal these 
wounds/  We could save from infection an cut off 
the legs? But chance is even in a major city you 
may only find 1 maybe 2 such healers.  In a 
forest slim to none.  But there is a rumor of a 
Rune Priest on the volcano island to the 
east.  He is a major fire rune priest but is said 
to heal with such power.  We could get the three 
to the fishing village probably a day away and they could sail to the island?”

	   Jaren nods, “we'd have to monitor infection and get there fast.”	   	

	   Varen frowns, “wait a possible 5-6 days to 
and back to save their legs?A long delay.  Not sure...”

	   Some glare at Varen and he goes quiet.  Keep 
in mind this will be a one time deal.  If we get 
this serious damage in future probably not gonna 
do a montage. :) We are honestly close to 
adventure end.  Less than a week travel game 
wise.  Then the core area and some side stuff.  I 
had hoped to end adventure by new years but not 
gonna happen.  So next update I'll do ammo 
reports and experience.  Let me know on vote – smudge/cheat or montage?  :)

	GM: Actions? Comments?

		Next update – Thur/Sat or next week.

	GM: finally! Miracles happen.  Its out!  What a 
few weeks.  Hurricane makes me clean up.  Then 
get food poisoning for a day then real sick for a 
half a week.  So sorry for the delay.  So if a 
body part takes 6 points it is 
disabled/severed/cut off.  It requires a Healing 
6.  To me that's a bit whacked.  The odds of a 
person getting that high is rare.  So we have a 
choice here.  We can smudge and just do minor 
healing and cheat.  Or we can do a montage. This 
is part of movie where heroes travel far for that 
antidote with loud music, epics terrains and 
grueling walking. :) So what I can do is send the 
3 to this island ( I rolled a random chance and 
placed a high healer there based on the 
volcano).  We could travel there and do the 
healing montage style.  So do it all in one 
update rather than 2-3 months of stuff.  So 
skipping ahead fast.  Then get back on the trail.  We only have
