[PnP] Watchful Sleep Regeneration/Healing

I think that's an overy broad use of regenerate.  It probably should have been written as healed.

The Watchful Sleep spell says "...the Caster will regenerate while under 
its effect. the Damage listed us the number of hits that he will heal 
AND the number of Mana Points that he will regenerate."

What does the spell mean by 'regenerate'?
Does it mean heal?
Or does it mean Regenerate as per the Regeneration spell? If so, does 
the caster/target lose one Energy Point for each point healed...as per 
the Regeneration spell?

If something removes an eye, hand or other body part I don't allow most 
healing spells to replace it...but Regeneration can. Will Watchful Sleep 
allow such body part regeneration?
