From Ben'dar: [Re: Actions]
Ben'Dar feels shame sweep through him. While death in battle
is what he has always hoped for, to be killed by a non-warrior
woman is not exactly glorious for a warrior of the Fel'oros
tribe. He glances up at his faithful friend, Tefwo, still
frozen by the spell. When Ben'Dar was injured, the spell was
broken... He quickly decides that he will not let Tef'wo be
slaughtered. Rather than attacking his enemies, he uses this
turn to try to save his friend. Out flashes his dagger, and
with a careful slice, he draws blood from one of Tef'wo's
forelegs. It is not a deep cut, but a flesh would that he
hopes will break the spell that holds the horse frozen. If
it works, he will bark a command to Tef'wo: "CHARGE" His
intent is for Tef'wo to charge forward, trampling both #3 and
the woman (and maybe himself, but it's a risk he's willing to
take).
Wow, this is a pretty desperate plan. OK, here are my actions
depending on what happens with the above plan:
If it works, and Tef'wo charges, Ben'Dar will try to roll out
of the horse's path. He'll stagger to his feet and try to
continue fighting his enemies with his fighting dagger.
If it doesn't work and Tef'wo remains frozen, Ben'Dar will try
to defend himself with the dagger, he will also try to get to
his feet to continue the fight.
GM: Ack. What I would've done :) Good deal.

Kill, no time to take chances.

Z'leyra will send the others she is levitating away towards
the table at floor level so they shouldn't have a problem when
the levitation stops for them. they may choose to stay together
and insubstantial or to separate and to fight as they choose.
She readies her shield (if it only takes one phase - otherwise
not) and dodges, zig zagging a path behind where the archer was
while becoming substantial again.
Z'leyra suspects the mist is Concealing Mist and only hides
the archer who will be able to see thru it. But just in case
she holds her breathe till she casts her own Concealing Mist
EL2 (which should cover the same diameter) as soon as she becomes
substantial, hoping to blind the archer. She hopes her magical
defense is high enough to protect her is the mist is more
dangerous. As soon as the spell is cast she will move sideways
and start swinging her staff in broad arcs hoping to hit the
archer while thinking of her next spell...

[New Stuff]
[Decalis 16th, 107th day since left Marentia, 42nd day of
Adventure #3 of the 1633rd year [TH].]
[Location: Pavassa Forest - Eastern Edge/On Plains]
[Time - 10:09am]
Turn 1: Phase 4
[Mana Allocation] - None from party
[Xian and Arawn build mana for spells.]
[Missile Fire ] -
[Thig sees the female leaning over Ben'dar. Thig
also saw Ben'dar far and may be mortally wounded.
Now only 20 feet away hovering invisible in the
air Thig aims his Magical Repeating crossbow and
fires his Magical set of Quarrels. The damage
boosted weapon and ammo does its job. The Quarrel
hits the female in the upper left chest just above
her breast. The quarrel penetrates deeply past her
leather armor and does 15 points of damage drawing
blood down her gown. She jerks back in pain and
tries to see who fired on her but sees no one.]
[Bowmen #6 seeing Unali approach and Corona attacking
from above panics and fires on Corona. But his hands
fumble with the arrow and it goes flying to the ground
between his fingers.]
[Bowmen #7 now closer to the campfire aims his bow at
the only good target outside Ben'dar (who is blocked
by possibly hitting the female), the wolf. He aims
and fires. The arrow hits the wolf in the right
side near the front leg doing 5 points of damage.]
[Magic Effect ] -
[Inside the cabin the female with the bow somewhere
in the main room of the cabin with Z'leyra and
Chion begins to speak words quickly. To Chion and
Z'leyra its hard to pinpoint as their ears aren't
solid. It sounds like a spell was cast but nothing
seems to have happened? At least not yet?]
[Xian teleports the 100 feet or so from his position
in the west to just behind the now wounded female
that stabbed Ben'dar.]
[Inside the east dark bedroom of the cabin Strie'bog
becomes solid. But Z'leyra must still be in range
and so he levitates a few inches off the ground.]
[Z'leyra concentrates and pushes Chion through the
Fog westward she can move him 40 feet quickly but
after only 10 feet the spell loses its range. Chion
suddenly halts and begins to sink to the ground
still insubstantial but visible. He is outside the
Fog and sees no one in the west side of the room.]
[Arawn casts a quick spell and with the light that
is coming in through the door suddenly darkness
fells completely over the room and a bit into the
main room outside.]
[Melee & Movement]-
[Ben'dar feeling desperate knows to die at the hands of
a woman ...a WOMAN...would be bad for him and his
family honor. Course to duel and even fight with that
Katai woman Unali even when she's in those tight black
suits of hers...he shakes the thought out and forms
a quick plan. Knowing wounds seem to stop the spell
he reaches with his right hand down to his right
boot while twisting his leg to bring it closer. He
draws the fighting dagger inside the boot and with
his left hand covering his chest and the lung that
seems to be draining air he sits up with great effort
and pain. With his headdress and fangs he looks
like a sleeping dragon waking from a long sleep. With
a roar equal to a dragon's he swipes the dagger at
Tef'wo's front right leg. The tip of the blade just
does enough to draw a trickle of blood. The damage
forces the leg to collapse to the ground with a
dust cloud. Ben'dar with what might be his last
breath yells "CHARGE!" then collapses onto the
ground panting for his final breath....]
[Corona takes to the air again and dives at Bowmen #6
but his claws fail to strike flesh this time.]
[The black crow twirls around and with beak and claws
shreds the left wing of the Eagle doing 5 points
of damage to it. ]
[The eagle fights back and with both claws on the crow's
right shoulder and with a vicious beak attack on the
neck the strong eagle seems to shred flesh and almost
break the neck of the eagle. With a final squeal of
pain the crow is released and falls to a bloody heap
on the ground below.]
[Thig flies over toward Ben'dar but sees Tef'wo is
about to move. He hovers over the air not wanting
to be trampled.]
[The deer shakes his head and then turns right. It
hands toward the cabin and along its wall to the
front door. It begins to buck the front door with
its large antlers.]
[Humagi #5 gets his horse moving toward Tef'wo and
Ben'dar but near the area (about 15 feet) the
horse is caught in the spell and stops in mid air
as Tef'wo. But the rider does not. The rider goes
flying off the front of the horse and onto his back.]
[Tef'wo hears the command and rears back. He nods
feeling no longer Ben'dar on his back. He glances
over to see the female, Ben'dar and #3. Rearing
back on his rear legs he stands up and instead of
charge which could take critical seconds to complete
he uses his front legs to kick the warrior #3. One
leg misses the man but the other hits the warrior below
his buckler in the lower right abdomen crushing ribs
and doing massive internal damage worth 9 points of
damage. The man falls to the ground by the blow and
doesn't seem to be awake.]
[Boyzdar runs and leaps over #1's body, the time spell
doesn't seem to affect it. He runs past the campfire
and leaps over Ben'dar's head toward the female (not
knowing Xian is there). The Wolf misses the female
by inches and fails to hit landing to her left.]
[The boar shakes his head but sees no good target to
tusk. It has a feeling it needs to get into the
cabin for some reason though...]
[Chion now outside the fog finds himself sinking to the
ground and his feet begin to merge into the floor
and ground. Not good if the insubstantial spell
ends. Luckily he's the center of that spell.]
[Z'leyra grabs her shield and with both 'solid' hands
tries to shift it and her staff around.]
[Strie'bog now solid looks around but finds just the
dark room. Whoever was here just ended a candle
as there is a whiff of smoke here. HE grabs hard
the balalaika to find his mother.]
[Farseeker on the ground swings high at the #9 warrior
now on his horse. The great sword hits but the
man brings up his buckler and blocks the blow.]
[Unali moves her horse forward toward rider #6. She
twirls the horse around so her side is to the back
of the man. With her magical dagger she stabs the
man in the back doing the final damage to kill the
man. With her left arm she pushes the body off her
and onto the ground off his horse.]
[Trembyl continues running east to help Farseeker.]
[The man with Arawn in the room is now blind but
swings wildly at the last known position of Arawn.
With a swipe the sword clanks onto Arawn's buckler
but doesn't go past it.]
[Angry the female over Ben'dar doesn't see Xian or
Thig nearby but seeing the wolf leap at her she
turns and thrusts at the wolf and hits doing 7
points of damage to the wolf's abdomen near his
rear right leg.]
[Arawn levels his sword and thrusts it at the man
in the room with him. The sword hits him in the
chest doing a minor 3 point wound.]
[Xian swings his war staff at the female's back as
she is turned toward the wolf. The staff hits
her doing 3 points of damage.]
[Both riders #2 and #9 swing at Farseeker but by luck
both weapons fail to strike.]
Actions? Comments?
Next update Wednesday
GM: Near midnight. So no time to do another phase.
Here is what I will do. I'll publish this one.
Tomorrow night (8pm+ EST) I will work on the next
phase and only do one more phase. Then I will
release it before bed so it will be out for Wednesday.
Then I will do 1 or 2 phases for friday.
Arawn - I know what you want to do next phase. But
if you want to change it let me know.
Ben'dar - Due to pain until Thig or Xian can heal that
lung hole it will be hard fighting. But if
you have actions plan so. But likely not
much to do next phase.
Chion - Since your no longer in levitation range of Z'leyra
do you want to cast a quick levitation yourself?
This is what I was going to do for you next phase
in order to survive becoming solid. :) If no then
let me know.
Thig - Will attempt to heal Ben'dar if he can.
Strie'bog - Will email you.
Unali - North side of cabin free of enemy. Head toward the
west side or south side with Ben'dar and others?
Z'leyra - Next phase you become solid. This means you'll
have to hold your breath. Good luck :)
Enemy - 60% of outside forces down/killed.
#2 - on Horse, By Farseeker
#5 - Horse frozen but he is not, near Ben'dar
#7 - Bowmen, south of campfire
#9 - On horse by Farseeker
Female - by campfire fighting wolf, wounded
Cabin - Darkness exudes out of the first room where Arawn
is down columns 1-4. So part of the table and wall
is not seen by Chion but pure darkness.
All map positions should be accurate now. The above movement
order may have been not 100% correct. I have to update
the movement chart based on who is on horses, who is
solid and such. So next update it will be in correct
100% order.
