Starting Culture
At one point my group seemed to be in a rut over starting cultures. It seemed that new characters were either Candan, Marentian or Djani. To solve this, and to put a little more flavor into it, one of the following tables may be used along with the character creation process. The entries in the first table are based on the relative human populations of the middle world withing the Lands Perilous. The entries in the second table are based on the relative importance of a culture (i.e. the Power).
When creating a new character, roll three times on one of the following tables and have the player pick ONE result as for his home culture.
