Major Wounds
There are hits which will damage the body more than other; these are the socalled 'Major Wounds'. A character will receive a Major Wound if, due to a single hit in melee or magic, he loses more than half of his maximal HPV. It has to be a single hit within one phase. When the damage results from several hits, none of which are more than half the max HPV, no Major Wound will occur.
When a character receives a Major Wound, he rolls on the Major Wound table below. The roll gives the long term effect, after healing. All penalties reduce current as well as maximum abilities. If a character suffers the same effects twice, the effect is not cumulative; only another scar will remain.
